‘Meshcoring’ thoughts so far: My repeater node… uptime 53 trouble-free days. Its solar is holding up on full power even on cloudy days. There are 200 repeaters in Paris. Seemingly getting into every nook and cranny. But few in-to/out-of this ‘island’. Lots of traffic on the uncrypted channels. Hundreds of boring messages. Too many. Usually of no interest and I’m considering leaving these # groups. My companion node… mostly now using the GAT562 from home. Hopping into the nearby repeaters means I can have Tx Power = 0 (measures 40dBm). So batteries last about 2 weeks. Basically low maintenance easy peazy squeezy of the lemon.
