Months ago, I didn't know Abdul El-Sayed, and I don't know every detail of his political platform. But I stand with victims of hate, bigotry, and Islamophobia, what his opponents were all about!
Iβm simply happy when hate loses.
Building a society where we live together in human fraternity is our greatest challenge. Thatβs why more diversity in politics is real progress.
When El-Sayed implements policies I disagree with, Iβll be the first to criticize them. But it will never be based on his name or religion. Only his politics.
Let's judge people by their actions, not what they look like.
