Update: I’ve got a date for surgery.
I’m nervous but excited. It’ll be just before Christmas so I’m definitely gonna be sore when Santa comes this year to tell me I’ve been a good Phoenix.

Long post, sorry.
I’m not making any form of decision now but I’m truly reaching my limit.
Between the health of my family, my own health, no stable income and severe low self-esteem, I’m reaching the point of stopping content creation entirely.
I am tired. That’s the core of it.
The only thing stopping me is the fact I still enjoy streaming, editing, the whole thing. But time simply isn’t on my side and I can’t just neglect the other major things taking up said time.
Growth will always hit peaks and troughs but I’ve had such minimal growth in 2026. It’s hard to not view myself as a failure and I know my low self-esteem contributes to this feeling. I’m so grateful for my Fennatics, and people sticking with me despite all the cancellations, delays and whatnot.
My fear is I’ll never be able to be as consistent as I want to be. Which, I think, is what has bought on these thoughts of stopping entirely.
Financially, I’m nearing the point of being unable to afford the software I use for content creation and motion graphics, which would prevent me from being able to pursue a career in the field I spent a year studying a Master’s degree for.
I’ve considered pursuing a non-creative career, but living with Fibromyalgia, deteriorating physical health, and GAD means that a job requiring me to commute and be physically present every day would be highly debilitating. This significantly limits my options in an already incredibly competitive job market.
My community knows I’ve started the process of being referred for breast reduction. But this process and the long waiting lists may take anywhere from 6 months to 3 years, that’s assuming I’m eligible for the surgery. I despise going out and basically permanently live in baggy tops and skirts to hide my figure. Until recently I didn’t realise this was also the cause of my breathing difficulties. Throughout my whole life, I’ve had a pretty positive view of myself. Now, I hate looking in the mirror.
At the moment, I just want to curl up into a ball and hope the world goes away for a bit.
I’m really sorry for being such a terrible content creator. When I figure out if I want to continue, I’ll let you know.
Since Papa Fenn is back in hospital, streams & 2.0 are up in the air again.
I’m also desperately fighting a depressive episode and trying to keep my head above water.
