Tony, the £16billion of taxpayers money did not go to rail workers. It went to rail companies so that our members could continue to run services so that we could get nurses and other essential key workers to work.
Rail companies pocketed £500million of that money as profit.

Casual staff at SOAS! We will be holding an open meeting next Monday at 5pm ahead of UCU strike action next week week. Do come along if you have any concerns about the strike, or if you want to hear how the national dispute is relevant to casualisation.
