We're pleased that THE GODSEND, a fine UK example of the "killer kid" #horror subgenre is receiving a rare screening, as part of an event marking the publication of Heidi Honeycutt’s new @Headpress book on women horror directors, ‘I Spit on Your Celluloid’.
Directed by Lionel Jeffries and featuring many British favourites, THE AMAZING MR. BLUNDEN is showing at this year's festival.
Based on Antonia Barber’s ‘The Ghosts’, this is one of the finest family films to emerge from a beleaguered 70s British film industry and remains a joy.
As part of our Cliff Twemlow celebrations, we're excited to announce a special guest - The Pike.
The mechanical marvel built for Twemlow's abortive film, THE PIKE, based on his novel of the same name.
Here's your only chance to get your photo taken with a 12ft angry pike!
We’ve celebrated the life & work of local hero Cliff Twemlow before at the Festival. Now, festival friend, director Jake West is bringing his acclaimed documentary, MANCUNIAN MAN: THE LEGENDARY LIFE OF CLIFF TWEMLOW this year.

We are pleased to reveal that Jeff Lieberman's BLUE SUNSHINE is our opening night film. 📽️
Jeff should be held in the same level of esteem as his contemporaries on the US horror scene of the 70s and 80s - and we are thrilled to welcome him as a guest this year.
