Hear from Prof. Ninad Patwardhan, Faculty of Psychology at FLAME University, as he shares his perspective on the conference and the importance of advancing conversations in psychology.

Career readiness begins with self-awareness and the ability to translate it into purposeful action.
At FLAME University, ME360 is an experiential career-readiness initiative that connects the breadth of a liberal education with the evolving realities of the professional world.Through industry leadership panels, interactive workshops, career-focused sessions and alumni interactions, students explored what it takes to navigate professional journeys with clarity, confidence and intention.
From understanding employer expectations and exploring AI’s role in the future of work to strengths assessment, career mapping, personal branding, LinkedIn, professional etiquette, communication and emotional intelligence, the sessions encouraged students to connect their individual strengths and values with industry needs. Conversations with industry practitioners and alumni offered insights into diverse career pathways, workplace expectations and leadership across sectors, while practical exercises helped students reflect on their aspirations and plan their next steps.
While the undergraduate bootcamp focused on the transition from campus to corporate life, the postgraduate Career Academy emphasised professional identity, interpersonal effectiveness and purposeful career planning. Together, the programmes reflect ME360’s central idea: preparing for a career is not simply about securing a first opportunity, but about developing the self-awareness, adaptability and judgement to navigate a changing professional landscape.
The sessions featured industry leaders, practitioners and alumni, including Satish Pai (@DataGeekSatish), Prabhakar Shetty, Srinivas Jain, Sanjay Jain, Jyoti Priyadarshi, Sailesh Kumar, Swati Shinde, Amit Upadhyay, Rahoul Joshii, Muddassir Shaikh, Asmita Alat, Ameet Kakar Thakur, Chetan Shah, Aabha Gupta, Komal Goenka, Nikhil Bhojwani, Akshay Kunkulol, Sanyucta Sisodia and Adarsh Nigam. Contributions from FLAME faculty and facilitators included Prof. Venkataramanan, Dr. Saumya Sharma, Tamosi Moitra Sarkar and Prof. Bharat Damani, alongside Salil from VMock. Alumni voices included Anukriti Goyal, Abhramika Choudhuri and Karan Sarda, with the programme also featuring interactions with a wider network of alumni across industries.
From campus curiosity to corporate readiness.
From demographic change to environmental risks, FLAME faculty share their perspectives on issues shaping society and public policy.

What can ancient traditions teach us about the choices on our plates today?
At FLAME University, Prof. Pankaj Jain (@ProfPankajJain) explored animal ethics across Jain and Hindu traditions, from the reverence for the sacred cow to the symbolism of the compassionate lion. The lecture examined how ahimsa (nonviolence) shapes perspectives on food, fasting and vegetarianism, raising questions about the role of religion, culture and conscious choice in what we eat.
By connecting centuries-old philosophies with contemporary debates on food ethics, the discussion invited us to reflect on our relationship with animals and the choices we make every day.
At FLAME, learning encourages us to question familiar perspectives and discover new ways of understanding the world
Prof. Hyokjin Kwak (@hyokjinkwak), Dean of the FLAME School of Communication, led ‘Connect to Connected’, an exclusive masterclass for Kia India’s (@KiaInd) entire top management team, including MD & CEO Mr. Gwanggu Lee and the Chief Sales Officer, at the company’s Sales Head Office in Gurugram.
Over nearly four hours, the masterclass explored where AI transformation really stands, how Indian culture and an AI-ready Gen Z are changing the way cars are bought, and what it takes for a global brand like Kia to stay connected with customers, employees and communities in India.
Building on a strong record of academic excellence, the FLAME School of Communication is now taking its insight into the boardroom, bringing academia and industry closer together.
At the IRIS Summit 2026, Prof. Dishan Kamdar, Vice-Chancellor of FLAME University, joined leading voices from academia and policy to explore how research impact can be measured across policy, business, and society.
