The design lead on Arenas Boxfights in #Fortnite has commented on the mode's performance and reception 💬 "This team is just a few people working on multiple projects... We are targeting a very specific segment of the Fortnite community intentionally so we can build out UEFN tournament tech. And we're not deterred by social commentary that attempts to weaponize CCU as some sort of "gotcha." Tournament CCUs beat our launch CCU. DAU which is the healthiest metric for us to measure (this should be a norm across the industry), is in the tens of thousands (to low hundreds). WAU is in low hundreds of thousands of players. We're just chipping away, but commentary about CCUs is not going to deter us from trying our best to improve Arenas; future UEFN tournaments are better for the ecosystem."
