This is what I can say as a result of the election: We need to be in the Word. A nation's staying power is directly linked to its spiritual strength and vitality. Our country needs a spiritual awakening. We need to return to the Word of God. We need to return to the worship of God. And we need to return to the ways of God. I pray today, Lord, that You will forgive us of our sins. Draw us back to You as a nation. Awaken Your Church for this hour in which we live. And, Lord, send one more revival to our nation, that the Word would go forth, lives would be transformed, and eternity would be impacted. I pray and ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

The Republican Party stripped a lot of its core values from its platform. We have to acknowledge that abortion rates in this country have gone up by over 20% because of policies that are kept in place by the Trump administration. I don't think God honors that. Part of these election results may be a chastisement upon a Party that became complacent on moral and value issues. Michele Bachmann: "Right."

In Texas, we see a Senate candidate "perverting Scripture, perverting the word of God, and trying to pass it off as truth... It's concerning; it's disturbing." @RepMichaelCloud "It's caused faith voters, so to speak, to wake up."

Mike Rogers, who had a solid pro-life record in Congress, abandoned the unborn for perceived political gain. Voters in Michigan have the disappointing choice between Mike Rogers, who now says he does not believe the unborn have a right to exist, and Abdul El-Sayed declining to say Israel has a right to exist.

Honored to have the support of @FRCAction. I’ll never forget Dr. James Dobson coming out to Kentucky to support me in one of my first races. I’ll always stand for conservative, pro-family values in line with what @FRCdc is all about.
