Stacey and I had a birthday dinner and drinks party at Bonefish Grill for my Mom! We had a blast. Even came home for cake and ice cream! Sorry we forgot to take a picture, but it happened! 🥳🎉 🎂🍸🎁
Aaron Rogers was 💯% correct with everything he said! Watch the whole video. It sounds like he we would make an excellent commissioner! #AaronRogers #NFL #InternationalGames #InternationalWeek #EveryoneParticipates #SecondByeWeek #PlayerSafety #OwnersBeingCheap #CommunityOutreach #Events #NFLExpansion #NFLCommissioner @NFL @ESPNNFL @nflcommish @nflnetwork @NFLonCBS @NFLonFOX espn.com/video/clip/_/id/502…

Starting my next book, The Enemy by Lee Child. It’s the 8th book in the Jack Reacher series. Technically, though it’s a prequel to the 1st book. So he’s still a Major in the US Army. In this book Reacher is on duty when a two-star general is found dead of apparent natural causes in a cheap roadside motel, with his official briefcase missing. Hours later, the general's wife is found murdered hundreds of miles away. An investigation ensues. Reacher is joined by Sergeant Frances Neagley and a young lieutenant. They uncover a military conspiracy and a pattern of suspicious reassignments in the upper ranks aimed at framing Reacher. The investigation runs parallel to personal developments in reachers life.
I hope it’s good. I paused the series after the 7th book and thought it was time to jump back in and do the next book in the series. That, and I’m a bit starved for content. #TheEnemy #LeeChild #JackReacher #AudioBook #Audible
Paris, France is on my list of International trips. I’d love to be there for the Steelers vs Saints game this weekend. However, “Paris is Burning” right now so I’ll wait a minute for that trip! For all of you non-rockers out there that is a Dokken song title reference! 🏈 🔥 🇫🇷 #Steelers #GoSteelers #SteelerNation #Yinz #HereWeGo #Paris #France #Dokken #ParisIsBurning open.spotify.com/track/0rTNv…
Just finished the book, I Ain’t Studdin’ Ya by Bobby Rush and Herb Powell. It’s the 2021 autobiography of Grammy and BMA winning blues legend Bobby Rush. It covers his life from picking cotton and playing juke joints in Arkansas and Louisiana as a teenager, to his move to Chicago, his signature 1970s hit "Chicken Heads," and his decades-long career as the "King of the Chitlin' Circuit". I’m looking forward to doing another blues book on a legend. I’ve done so many, I’m hard pressed to find any blues book I haven’t done.
The book was excellent. I enjoyed all the great stories. I especially liked all the famous blues people he met along his journey. I can see why I didn’t like his shows. The book discussed the chitlin circuit and compared it to vaudeville and how his shows had dancers, comedy, yapping, etc. I don’t like any of that, or need any of it at a blues show. Just give me the music. The story itself was chronological and kept my interest. He led a really full and difficult life through the 20th Century. The book also had a great the narrator. All in all it was way better than what I thought it would be. I’d definitely recommend it.

RIP Coach Chuck Amato! He was at FSU for 21 years going back to the Bowden era. #RIPChuckAmato #ChuckAmato #CoachAmato #CoachChest #FSU #Noles #GoNoles #FearTheSpear #FSUFootball

The FSU vs UM game was stolen by lousy ACC refs. Phantom holding call and the simultaneous catch goes to the offense. It was also stolen from Mike Norvell because he failed to kick a FG inside the red zone on 2 different occasions. I also thought the team calling the game on ESPN was awful.
As Gene said on Florida State Seminoles sports on @Warchant, deep down I knew FSU wasn’t going to win the game. Too many times they’ve got my hopes up, just to dash them in the end. This 7+ year experiment with Mike Norvell is done. It’s time to fire Mike Norvell and leave the ACC! #ACCRefsFail #ACCFail #MikeNorvellFail #FireMike #ESPNFail #FSU #Noles #GoNoles #FearTheSpear #FSUFootball #FSUvsMIA #CanesSuck #ItSucksToBeU #BeatMiami #FMFFM @accnetwork @ACCFootball @theACC @espn @ESPNCFB @FSUFootball @Seminoles
It’s awesome to see players from @FSUFootball 2013 National Championship team still doing it big in the NFL! Especially Jalen Ramsey who plays for my @steelers!
I see a major ad failure here though. This particular image has a sponsor (top right of image). Well, I noticed that the sponsor was @Gatorade and as a Nole myself, I had to quickly change it to @Powerade. See there I fixed it for you! #GatorsSuck #GatoradeFail #NeverGraduate #Powerade #IsItInYou #RivalryWeek #FSU #Noles #GoNoles #FearTheSpear #FSUFootball

Had a awesome time at the Fight Oligarchy Rally with Angie Nixon and Bernie Sanders in Melbourne, FL. I got to meet a lot of cool people while I was there. Naturally, I was near the front in the 3rd row center just like at concerts. This event had that kind of a feel including a band from Tallahassee. Angie and Bernie were both great. I’ve seen them both live before and it was expected.
Fortunately, I stayed the night at the Crowne Plaza Beachfront Melbourne resort where the event was being held and I got valet parking. Turns out the event was so big, it was moved from this hotel to across the street in a huge parking lot. I was at the hotel by Noon enjoying the resort until about 2 hours prior when I went across the street to the event. People were bussed in because parking was limited. The event still got a couple thousand people in spite of the parking, intermittent rain, and strong winds.
When it was done I went back to my room and changed into my FSU gear and drove to the Double Tapp Grill about 10 minutes away where the Brevard Seminole club was having a game watching party for the FSU vs Miami game. I got to meet some nice people there too and see the game from midway through the 2nd quarter through the double overtime finish. #FightOligarchy #FightOligarchyTour #AngieNixon #BernieSanders #Melbourne #Florida #MFGA #MakeFloridaGreatAgain #VoteBlue #VoteBluer #Democrat #SocialDemocrat #Progressive #ProgressiveFL @AngieNixon @BernieSanders @OurRevolution @SenSanders @FL4Bernie2020
