Following up on our tweet this morning regarding Team COFH, where we were approached with potential copyright issues with Thaumaturge.
This was informal and unofficial, and no legal notices have been issued to us.
Our decision to remove the mod is a precautionary measure. Removing a mod that has significant impact on players worlds is far more disruptive after a pack has been released.
Evolution 2 should still be releasing today.
Since making this tweet, we have been contacted by Team CoFH with an extensive list of Thaumcraft copyright violations.
Whilst we verify this, and to ensure that we don’t break worlds, we have made the unfortunate decision to remove Thamaturge from the initial release of FTB Evolution 2.
