On Friday, 2nd grade went on a great field trip to Stagville State Historic Site. This came after our Long Journey to Freedom Unit which (among many other topics) covered enslavement, resistance, and emancipation. Check out some of the reflections from students' experiences!

Finishing up the Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations with our third annual school-wide Hispanic Candy Tasting! Our students embraced their inner food critics, collected data on their favorites, analyzed their findings, and even created school-wide graphs to display the results
