A spellbinding showcase of Welsh creative talent, @WelshNatOpera's first staging of Britten's Death in Venice was an imaginative collaboration with local circus group No Fit State. Ambitious in its direction, it captivated audiences musically and theatrically. #RPSAwards

Cassandra Miller transforms the music of Scottish smallpipes player Brighde Chaimbeul in Chanter, a concerto for guitar and strings, written for @seanstshibe and @DunedinConsort. Delicate scoring creates a magical, dreamlike quality to her work. @Fabercomposers #RPSAwards

John Adams once said writing new music is like being "a medieval stonecutter, forever chipping away at some huge cathedral that takes centuries to build." On January 28, Adams and the LA Phil New Music Group perform five world-premiere pieces by some of today's most acclaimed "stone-cutting" composers: Gabriella Smith, Samy Moussa, Noah Jenkins, Dylan Mattingly, and Francisco Coll.
