Adored Peter Sallis #botd 1921. Iconic voice thanks to Wallace & Gromit + 37 years of Last of the Summer Wine. Happy times with him filming on location. If you'd like a chance to win this signed pic of Peter from my collection, just repost this Tweet and I'll pick one at random.

I absolutely loved spending the day with @PaulCliftonBBC and crew. I loved even more that I was given this opportunity to share my adoration for the brilliant industry I work in. Thank you all for being so supportive! Arlo can’t believe he’s been on telly too! 🦡 ❤️
Meet Bessie. @bessbbe is fab: a hugely enthusiastic @RailFreight driver who wants to encourage more women train drivers. She's a great cheerleader for rail. Oh, and she has written a lovely book for children. She's on @BBCSouthNews later too.

Getting married this year?
👰🤵 It's 'your' day and you may also share a love for trains, but this doesn't mean that you can break the rules when it comes to safety.

An interesting find from the Tatler, Apr 35:"The Faster Train-or the railway that got a move on." Published shortly after the LNER loco Papyrus broke the world speed record, it perhaps suggests that there will be surprise at faster trains when people had been used to slower ones
