Silent horror, the fairy is spinning to face the wall— emergency hiding spot. Act invisible. Be invisible.

One sideways sliding maneuver backwards— she kept her eyes on him, calculating her next move carefully as she willed the brick to swallow her whole She just wanted paints, not to risk having to actually do the unthinkable and speak to someone! The city was always so troublesome

In the zone, the fairy stood chanting with chattering knees. Eyes fully locked to the ground so she had not noticed the other, but oh when the other spoke— she sure did hear it! “!” Looking over slowly, she froze horrified, mouth zipping shut at the sight of a stranger.

Brick to back, the fairy was flushed to the alleyway wall with her hands to her ears— “don’t be seen. don’t you dare make a peep. In, and right back out.” The motivation for this trip to town? She really really needed new paint, but this? WAY too much for a timid type.
