Please join us in asking our members of congress to support several pieces of #LongCOVID and #pandemicpreparedness legislation, outlined in the action here: actionnetwork.org/letters/su… Why is this important for *everyone* to do? We are in drastic need of #research, #access to timely, quality #medicalcare from providers with experience in needed areas which lacked prior to the pandemic, and public and provider #education. Without the support and engagement from #congress, we will not see or receive the processes and steps needed for interventions and care for #LongCOVID, all while the number of people impacted by it continued to grow daily. Congressional members are not out reading research, and not paying attention to one or two inquires. We need to be consistent and numerous in our efforts, and we especially need support in areas where #stigmatization towards #LongCOVID is exacerbated, to gain their support, so that we can see progress and improve #patientoutcomes. C19LAP has done a lot to build the car, but without our wheels (all of you), the car stays in park. We are asking each and every single one of you to complete this action and get friends, family, and others you know, to participate and share as well. We ask that you also share this across your social media platforms and #LongCOVID and #chronicillness spaces. Benefits that can come from these bills will be widespread.
