We're closing FAIR Denmark. It's been a fantastic journey and we are thankful to everyone ❤️
The following blog post is focused on the practical side of the matter. We'll write another blog post with a wider focus.

In 2018, we adopted a policy to only use and promote resources which are Open Source and Open Access. We're excited to see that momentum is gathering behind Digital Public Goods (@DPGAlliance) and that efforts are made to establish this in academia.

And what's the most environmentally friendly computer or laptop? It's also the one that you've already got!
The main environmental footprint of our devices comes from production. Keep using your devices or at least make sure they end up with someone who will 💡💚
What’s the most environmentally friendly phone? The answer is simpler than you might think: It’s the one you’ve already got: bit.ly/3xOgFhK
2022 has just started, and Mzimba District Youth Office is on their way to set up an ICT lab with experienced help from @tMinds_society and equipment from FAIR. Fantastic!
Job done 🌟 A new ICT lab at Malo Private Secondary School in Mzimba, operated by Mzimba District Youth Office's Mgozi Youth Club, w/ equipment support from @tMinds_society
The lab is setup with a local server rich with Open Source Software and Open Educational Resources 📚
And finally, the center was fully set-up, tested and presented to the public! The work done by volunteers, included setting up ethernet cables for 31 computers and a server.

ICT is a tool. A tool that enables education and research. A new community met at @mwdatabootcamp to learn and develop in the field of data science, using ICT equipment and Open Source software. This is exactly the type of event that we love to support. fairdanmark.dk/en/blog/malaw…
