Reminder that wage theft is the single biggest source of theft in this country, far outpacing all robbery put together.

The ordinance will prevent the county from entering into contracts with companies with a history of wage theft. It is designed to discourage businesses from engaging in wage theft — paying less than minimum wage, not paying overtime wages, etc. ideastream.org/government-po…
