The problem isn’t that he went to the dunker (cut through to remove one-pass-away help) It’s that he walked. So much of the Miami experience through three games has been equal parts sloppy and lazy. No conviction to what they’re doing. Makes it hard for everyone.

I'm still worried about Miami's offense, just as a function of not having much variety, lacking creation talent, and missing natural PG skills. However, I'm not worried about the defense. They've just been getting absolutely nuked on jumpers over a miniscule sample size. In the 50 minutes Giannis & Bam have played together, they've been an elite rim defense that dominates the glass, as you'd expect. The problem is that opponents have made 63% of their mid range shots and 51% of their 3s on extreme volume. That's going to come back to Earth. I wouldn't panic just yet.

I could have made case for Giannis to come in for Bam and not Portis late in this particular circumstance, because Portis is the far superior shooter. Bam then missed both his 3s. But Bam obviously the much better defender. This roster has challenges, clearly.

I think wiggins has gotten like 2 stops in the first 3 games. He's been getting deep fried out there

I think its worth exploring starting Myron instead of Wiggins. Someone with edge and fight. Give him some mins at the start to give energy and grit

Defense looks a lot better because of the aggression. Not playing a deep drop but trapping and playing much closer to the level. Pelle and giannis are foul magnets right now. Bam actually looking for his own offense to start
