I’ve seen kids, just like this, who instinctively cry when they see police. Some of our elementary school kids have been so traumatized by police that they begin to shake when they see an officer.
This beautiful Black girl was walking through a park with her mom when a patrol car pulled up. Fearful, she immediately put her hands up and cried. Turns out the officer just wanted to greet her. It’s so heartbreaking how traumatized our babies are 😢💔 #BlackLivesMatter
