The Rockets just picked up their front court partner for Christian Wood. It wasn’t Evan Mobley but Alperen Sengun is much more than a consolation prize.

Alperen Sengun absolutely lit up my draft model and is flying under the radar. He possesses a polished post game years beyond his age, and an impressive playmaking ability in the half court. He also comes with an efficient scoring and strong rebounding ability. #NBA #NBAdraft

The @warriors got an absolute steal at #14. Moses Moody will be an important piece in resurrecting the “Death Lineup”

Throughout my analysis process, Moses Moody became one of my favorite prospects in the 2020 NBA Draft. He possess a great ability to draw fouls and score from 3 pt range. He also has a 7 ft wing span and strong defensive tendencies. He could be special. #NBA #NBADraft

Evan Mobley is special. He would be my choice as the #2 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. He projects to contribute on both ends with a unique skillset you do not see very often. A 7 ft franchise changer. #NBA #NBADraft

This guy is like Shaq, but instead of back to the basket he’s running at it full force. Giannis Antetokounmpo is unlike anything we’ve ever seen. Closest I can think of is a pre 2007 Finals butt-whooping LeBron James. Terrorizing at the rim.

Through two games of the NBA Finals, the Phoenix Suns have had their glue guy in Mikal Bridges step up and make key plays in big moments including a huge spark in game 2, finishing with 27 points and 7 rebounds. #nbashotchart #sportsanalytics #mikalbridges #nbastats

It’s not just about the deals you do make but also about the ones you don’t.

Let’s see if Jrue is able to tip the scale back in his and the Bucks favor in a decisive Game 3 at home tomorrow.

Mikal Bridges was a huge spark for the Suns in Game 2 finishing with 27 points and 7 rebounds. He’s now 2 wins away from collecting his 3rd ring (1st NBA) in the last 6 years. A true championship level player. #NBAFinals #PhoenixSuns #Villanova

Before the night was over, Bridges was traded by interim GM Brett Brown to the Suns for 16th pick Zhaire Smith and a 2021 1st round pick. Due to a series of unfortunate injuries and a life threatening allergic reaction, Smith was only able to suit up for 13 games with the 76ers.

Hindsight is always 2020 so it’s hard to knock Philly. What happened to Smith was unpredictable, and the FRP they received did help them net Tobias Harris in the trade with LAC. In spite of this, we can still accept that Bridges has turned out to be a gem of a player for the Suns
