International students are essential to the exchange of ideas and intercultural understanding
They are at the heart of so many technological advances, research innovations, and successful start-up companies in this country. Their economic contributions are tremendous.
🌏📣 As we celebrate #IEW2023, note new NAFSA data: #intlstudents at U.S. institutions during the '22-'23 academic year generated $40+ billion in economic activity & supported 368,000+ jobs in the U.S. Explore the data for your state & district: nafsa.org/econvalue #intled
We are pleased by today’s SCOTUS decision. This is an important affirmation. We have more work to do as a nation in supporting international students. @NAFSA
.@FantaAwNAFSA responds to the Supreme Court's decision to keep Optional Practical Training intact. While this resolves a major area of uncertainty for #intlstudents, Congress must act to provide them a path to a green card. Our full statement: bit.ly/3PMZLrc #intled
This morning heard Dr. @AuroraVergaraF1 a fellow sociologist and Minister of Education for Columbia speak about the vision for education in Colombia. She is a champion for quality, equitable and inclusive education throughout Columbia. Inspiring and a visionary.
