How does democracy work in Israel? Every vote plays a part in shaping the Knesset, Israel's 120-member parliament. Here's a closer look at Israel's electoral system, from the ballot box to the distribution of seats. 🇮🇱

Well.... globalised Intifada sucks! Now Europe is discovering this simple truth, the real face of anti-Israel pro-pal movements. For 2 years in Paris I've been saying this will happen. Sad days for the declining western civilisation

My salute to the Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar for his extraordinary bravery. Despite being stabbed and seriously injured, he fought back, resisted, opened the cockpit door, and enabled passengers and crew to overpower the attacker — preventing a catastrophic mid-air disaster. He saved the lives of 174 people, including Israeli citizens and other nationals. I wish Captain Machchhar a speedy and full recovery. He is a true hero.

This is a bold and courageous step by the Lebanese government, and the only logical response from Israel. Peace between our two small but proud nations could reshape the entire region, ushering in a new era of stability, prosperity, and hope. Hezbollah and Iran will do everything they can to sabotage this opportunity through violence and terror. They must not be allowed to succeed. The Israeli and Lebanese people deserve a different future. Congratulations to @POTUS45, @SecRubio, and everyone involved in making this possible. May this be implemented swiftly, and may peace سلام שלום be upon us all.
SECRETARY RUBIO: "We're happy to announce a framework agreement between the sovereign government of Lebanon and the government of Israel, with the mediation and support of the United States of America."

The true and only face of the radical Mullahs regime in Iran. #FreeIran‌
🚨 The man who allegedly digitally signed the MoU with @POTUS and @VP just went on Iranian state TV and explained why he is willing to “deal with” the United States, which he describes as “the killers of our martyred leader.” The same agreement reportedly states that "immediately upon signing," the United States would "issue Treasury exemptions for Iranian crude oil exports, petrochemicals, banking transactions, insurance, transportation, and related services." (point #10) In other words, immediate economic relief. Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf who digitally signed this agreement explained: “We also know that we are dealing with the killers of our martyred leader.” He then describes what true revenge means: “If we seek justice, and God willing we do, and if all these people seek justice for our Imam, then justice for our Imam lies in the liberation of Jerusalem (Quds).” “A hundred Netanyahus are not worth the shoelace of our leader. We must stand with this sense of honor, this perspective, and this ideal, and carry out this mission.” ⚠️ Read that carefully. He acknowledges he is dealing with the people he blames for killing his leader. He then explains that true justice for his Imam lies in the “liberation of Jerusalem” and says that mission must be carried out. This is the same man that has spent decades calling for the destruction of Israel, funding anti Israeli terrorist groups, and leading chants of “D3ath to Israel and to America.” They’re not hiding. They’re explaining it on state television. Why is @POTUS ignoring this? How could he call this man who wants to destroy Israel "very rational" and "not radicalized"? Worse... how could he sign off on immediate economic benefits to a regime with this purpose?! Please tell me what I am missing. 📺 Full translated remarks from the video obtained by @clashreport: (translated by Iranian friend who speaks excellent Farsi) "We also know that we are dealing with the killers of our martyred leader. They are the killers of Martyr Soleimani and the killers of our children here. I was discussing this with one of our friends. Of course, we must seek revenge and pursue justice for the blood that has been shed. But what does that truly mean? For example, if it were the month of Muharram and Shimr had martyred Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), and people criticized him, punished him, or even killed him in retaliation, would that alone constitute avenging Imam Hussein? The true avenging of Imam Hussein is the coming of Imam Mahdi and the establishment of a just government. The pursuit of that justice continues until that day. If we seek justice, and God willing we do, and if all these people seek justice for our Imam, then justice for our Imam lies in the liberation of Jerusalem (Quds). A hundred Netanyahus are not worth the shoelace of our leader. We must stand with this sense of honor, this perspective, and this ideal, and carry out this mission. The true justice for our beloved martyred leader is this: they have driven our Shiite Muslims out of southern Lebanon, people who have lived there since the earliest days of Islamic history. They were expelled from their own land. Justice for our martyred Imam means returning them to their rightful homes. Those are the people who fought for Iran. I do not wish to elaborate further on certain points, but consider those who used to say, “Neither Gaza nor Lebanon.” Know that Lebanon gave four thousand martyrs for the Islamic Republic of Iran. That is more than the total number of martyrs we lost in the entire war here. They fought for 104 days, while we fought for only 38 days."

That's what the majority in #Lebanon and #Israel wants. We want #peace with our neighbours, and between Israel and Lebanon it's just natural! 🇱🇧 🇮🇱 Raise the voices of peace for normalisation, stability and prosperity! And kick Hezbollah and iran out! P.S. I have family in Lebanon, and for me peace is also personal, not only a national or geopolitical aspiration!
Lebanese activist Majd Harb on normalizing with Israel: Normalization should have happened decades ago. It would fulfill his religious wish to visit Jerusalem and open Lebanon to a $500 billion market. "Why not have a beer in Tel Aviv one day?"

I have just seen the unedited footage of the October 7th attacks. Please read: What I saw was young men chopping off heads, shooting everything in sight, slaughtering little crying kids calling for their mummy, throwing grenades inside houses and cars and shelters, maiming bodies, playing with them, setting humans on fire, looking like it's the happiest day of their life. They call their relatives to celebrate how many they have killed. The parents back in Gaza are thrilled. They cheer and ask for more. "Bring back some heads for the people to play with" - asks a commander. The savages wilfully oblige, using flick knives to remove the skulls from slaughtered bodies like butchers carving up a carcass. "Bring some home for the people so we can crucify them in the square" the Hamas leaders order. The mangled, blood soaked bodies of hostages were paraded through the streets. The Gazan crowds cheered and filmed, celebrating or coming to spit on the terrified youngsters in the back of pick ups. The young Hamas brutes with their ecstatic grins, taking selfies, shouting Allahu Akbar, looked like so many of the young men in dinghies. Trendy clothes, modern phones. Energy and conviction. The first wave of attackers on October 7th were Hamas soldiers. The second, amateur conscripts. The third, Gazan civilians delighted to join in. What even are these monsters. I am forever changed, seeing what I have seen. And it isn't fake. It's footage Hamas shot themselves. Israel must live with that right next door. I fear we now have it, in hotels and houses around the country

A short while ago, in full coordination with the local community of Debel in southern Lebanon, the damaged statue was replaced by IDF troops. The Northern Command worked to coordinate the replacement of the statue from the moment it received the report of the incident. The IDF expresses deep regret over the incident, and is working to ensure that it does not happen again in the future.
