If you have a Candida overgrowth, you need more omega-3s. When it comes to biofilms, one thing i haven't seen anyone mention is how prostaglandins such as PGE2 can promote the formation of Candida biofilms and that this is the entire reason why aspirin or even ibuprofen, reduces Candida adhesion and biofilm development. Candida steals arachidonic acid from host cell membranes and by using its own internal cyclooxygenase (COX)-like enzyme pathways, it converts this stolen arachidonic acid into PGE2. PGE2 acts as a localized fungal hormone (*) that stimulates germ tube formation (the very first step of hyphal growth). So without PGE2, Candida struggles to form these hyphal meshes. (*) PGE2 enhances the expression of specific fungal surface proteins called adhesins (such as HWP1 and ALS3). Then the vicious cycle starts were mature Candida biofilms secrete significantly more PGE2 than free-floating yeast cells and this massive surge of extracellular PGE2 signals neighboring cells to accelerate the production of the extracellular polymeric substance (EPS) matrix. The high concentrations of PGE2 within the biofilm matrix correlate directly with upregulated efflux pumps. This allows the mature biofilm to aggressively pump out antifungal medications, making it up to 1,000 times more drug-resistant than single Candida cells In case you are not aware, biofilms are organized “groups” of microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, archaea, or protozoa commonly formed in the gut, oral cavity and sinuses. They are embedded in a self-produced extracellular matrix composed of polysaccharides, proteins, and extracellular DNA (eDNA) that acts as a physical barrier and makes them highly resistant to antibiotics and antifungals. Biofilm formation starts with planktonic microbes adhering to a surface through something called van der Waals forces or specific adhesins, then microbes start producing matrix components. Then the maturation process begins where cell division and matrix expansion form microcolonies starts and finally three-dimensional structures develop, with channels for nutrient flow. This process is regulated by quorum sensing which is a cell-to-cell communication system. Now here’s a list of OTC biofilm disruptors (support the mucosal layer for at least 4 weeks before using any of them). 1. Manuka honey (can also be used topically (for skin infections for example or oral use (dental biofilms))) Manuka honey contains methylglyoxal and other compounds that disrupt bacterial cell walls, inhibit quorum sensing, and degrade EPS components. Osmotic stress from high sugar content also inhibits bacterial growth. It’s ideal for pathogens such as: Staphylococcus aureus, streptococcus mutans, E. cloi, candida albicans and pseudomonas aeruginosa. 2. Essential oils such as tea tree oil or clove oil (for topical or oral use) Disrupt bacterial membranes, inhibit quorum sensing, and degrade EPS components. 3. Clove oil is ideal for oral treatment of candida albicans. 4. Epigallocatechin gallate from green tea It inhibits bacterial adhesion, disrupts EPS production, and downregulates quorum-sensing genes. It’s mainly useful for: streptococcus mutans, E. coli and staphylococcus aureus. 5. N-Acetylcysteine (NAC) NAC disrupts disulfide bonds in the extracellular polymeric substance (EPS) matrix, inhibits bacterial adhesion and reduces quorum-sensing activity. It’s useful for pseudomonas aeruginosa, E. coli, staphylococcus aureus and candida albicans. 6. Curcumin This one inhibits quorum sensing and disrupts bacterial cell membranes. It’s useful for S. aureus, E. coli, P. aeruginosa, and Candida albicans biofilms. 7. Berberine (interacts with statins and metformin) This one is great for inhibiting quorum-sensing pathways, efflux pumps and reducing EPS production. Even though it’s often recommended for fungal infections, it’s ideal for H. pylori biofilms. It can also of course help with staphylococcus aureus, E. coli, candida albicans and Lyme/borrelia burgdorferi. 8. Oregano oil Oregano oil is VERY potent and needs to be used with extreme caution, but it can disrupt bacterial and fungal cell membranes, inhibit quorum sensing and reduce EPS production, preventing biofilm formation. It’s extremely effective for candida albicans but also , SIBO, P. aeruginosa, S. aureus and E. coli biofilms. 9. Garlic extract (interacts with blood thinners and blood pressure medication) Garlic extract contains allicin and ajoene that can degrade EPS, disrupt bacterial cell membranes and inhibit quorum-sensing. It’s great for P. aeruginosa, S. aureus and Candida biofilms. 10. Certain probiotics such as: -L. reuteri DSM 17938, ATCC PTA 5289. They produce reuterin that has broad-spectrum antimicrobial properties that can also disrupt EPS, competes for adhesion sites and inhibis quorum-sensing pathways. They are mainly useful for H. pylori maintly and E.coli. -Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG This produces biosurfactants that disrupt pathogen adhesion to surfaces, degrade EPS and enhances mucosal barrier function. It’s mainly used for streptococcus mutans and E. cooli. -Lactobacillus acidophilus This one secretes bacteriocins that targets both gram-positive and gram-negative pathogens. It’s mainly used for candida albicans and E. coli. -Bifidobacterium longum This produces acetic and lactic acids, secretes bacteriocins and competes for nutrients and adhesion sites. It’s mainly used for H. pylori and E.coli. - Lactobacillus casei This also produces lactic acid and bacteriocins and can also inhibit quorum sensing. It’s mainly used for dental and Candida biofilms. - Saccharomyces boulardii This poduces proteases and other enzymes that degrade EPS components, competes for binding sites and it’s mainly used for C. difficile and Candida. -Resveratrol This one inhibits quorum sensing and reduces EPS production and it’s mainly used for S. mutans and S. aureus. -Cranberry extract This one has proanthocyanidins that disrupt fimbriae and EPS production while also reducing quorum sensing. It’s mainly used for E. coli biofilm formation. -Serrapeptase This one breaks down proteins in the EPS matrix, disrupts quorum-sensing pathways and also dissolves fibrin, a component of some biofilms. It’s mainly used for saphylococcus aureus, staphylococcus epidermidis, candida albicans, E. coli and Lyme. -Bromelain This enzyme disolced proteins in the EPS matrix, including fibrin and it’s quite helpful for Lyme, BUT, it can irritate the mucosal layer quite a lot. -Apolactoferrin Lactoferrin comes in two forms: 1. Native lactoferrin 2. Apolactoferrin Both can be quite valuable but the first one is iron bound and the second one is not which allows it to deprive pathogens of iron and thus helping us actually starve iron-dependent pathogens like candida albicans. It also prevents pathogens from adhering to surfaces by interfering with adhesins and inhibits quorum sensing. It also seems to be better tolerated from people who experience discomfort from things such as NAC and bromelain. And it can of course help people who have hereditary hemochromatosis and find that even though flavonoids help their markers and some symptoms, they lower their libido too much. *Niacinamide can also be helpful for biofilms but it should not be used before methylation is addressed and optimized. **One quite underrated tool, is undecylenic acid as well. Everyone is talking about Candida overgrowth but almost everyone is getting the fix wrong. If you are trying to starve the yeast with a hyper-restrictive diet or kill it off with endless supplements, you are missing the bigger picture. Here is the exact, step-by-step framework to actually fix your gut for good. Thread🧵

What’s the concern? $MEME
I am not going away @vladtenev @DanGallagher AMC Entertainment does not consent to Robinhood creating Stock Tokens to replicate AMC shares in the United States (the SEC requires you to get our consent, or failing that, at least with us to stand down). They are fake, synthetic shares, which could impact our capital structure. AMC should control our financial destiny, not Robinhood.

ok ok now do it this way! if it was your son or brother or dad do you want the park to kill tiger to save your loved one?
I've seen many people saying the tiger at Yorkshire Wildlife Park should have been shot when the man entered its enclosure. I couldn't disagree more. From the footage I've seen, it looks extremely difficult to even get into that enclosure in the first place. And from what I've heard, the staff did an incredible job reacting as quickly as they did, while showing restraint and avoiding killing an innocent tiger. These are apex predators. They are extremely dangerous animals that will naturally attack humans when confronted in their territory. Hopefully this magnificent animal isn't put down in the aftermath of this tragedy. The tiger did nothing wrong.

Last night a few coins launched on Conviction. This morning we checked and their positions hadn't opened on @PhoenixTrade the fees were there, sitting as collateral, but the keeper's connection to Phoenix hadn't loaded on the server. Nothing moved. Our fault. Fixed today, and we didn't just patch it: the keeper now retries every parked deposit until it lands, and any failed step shows on the coin page in plain text. If a position can't open, everyone sees why. The first live position is up: long SOL 5×, funded by a coin's own trades. Every +25% harvest → 50% to holders, 30% burns the coin, 20% burns $EMBER. No other launchpad on Solana runs a perp for your coin and pays the profit to the people holding it. Yesterday's stall was the only thing standing between that and you. 🔥 Every position, harvest and payout is a transaction you can open. Leverage cuts both ways, nothing here is financial advice. But today the loop is closed and it's live. Fees that trade. Profits that pay you. 🔥 embercurve.fun/ Try out conviction module

$EMBER looking good for the next push above 50M. Launchpad volume is growing, and the number of launches is increasing. Competitions are live Active buybacks are in place 650K in trading fee revenue generated, with 500K paid to creators. We gave it a good head start. Now it's up to the whales whether they want to be early or ape in above 200M.
Some of you bought $EMBER at 4M Some at 3M Some at 2.2M Some at 7M or even 10M It won't matter much when we're sitting above 100M. The only thing that will matter is that you had the balls to press the buy button when Alex called it. 20X already and more is inevitable!
