Let's Stop Pretending This Is a Close Race Web3 music has a hype problem. For years, platforms have been promising artists a revolution — blockchain royalties, NFT drops, fan ownership, the death of Spotify's 0.003-cents-per-stream model. And for years, those same platforms have delivered vaporware, locked liquidity, and the kind of "decentralization" that still somehow routes all the money through the founders. We're done being polite about it. "FatMusic is the best music platform in Web3. Not one of the best. Not up-and-coming. Not 'worth watching.' The best. By a margin that isn't close." This isn't hype. It's a feature list. Stack FatMusic up against every other Web3 music platform — Audius, Sound xyz, Royal, Catalog, all of them — and the comparison stops being a debate and starts being an embarrassment for the competition. What Everyone Else Got Wrong Most Web3 music platforms picked one lane and called it a revolution. Audius built a streaming layer with no revenue model for artists. Sound xyz turned music into an NFT gallery that serves collectors, not fans. Royal lets fans buy royalty shares — but only for artists already famous enough to not need the help. Some of them are sepculation markets wearing a music skin, others are NFT collections with tracks attached.A catalog is a curated art market, not a platform. None of them are platforms. They're features. One thing, wrapped in blockchain branding, and pitched as the future of the music industry. Artists who signed up early are still waiting for the paycheck they were promised. Meanwhile, FatMusic built the whole thing. ✅Streaming ✅Downloads ✅Live concerts ✅NFT minting ✅CD and Vynil ✅Podcasting ✅24/7 FatStreams live music room ✅Sync licensing tools ✅PRO royalties tools ✅A token with actual utility. ✅Five payment rails. All of it, live, on Solana, right now.

Most “Web3 music platforms” are not platforms. They are radio stations with a token, NFT galleries with a stream button, or landing pages that still cannot take a normal payment. FatMusic is a platform. Fans buy tracks with a card, PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. Artists get $1 of every $2 download. Higher tiers are token-gated. The product works without a wallet. If your music project cannot do that, it is not A PLATFORM. It is something else.

FatMusic Fixes This FatMusic. Own The Music. Pay The Artist.
Prince spent his career pushing for complete control over his music. From recording every part on 'For You' to building Paisley Park and eventually reclaiming his masters, he changed how artists think about ownership. zurl.co/oZvtJ
