The @MiamiDolophins should do everything possible to bring Lamar Jackson to Miami!! Previously posted this post. But due to some confusion I want it to be known that I believe this is something that should happen in March and not before Tuesday trade deadline. Why it makes sense for the @MiamiDolphins to trade for Lamar Jackson!! Lamar Jackson holds all the leverage. He has a no-trade clause, a no-tag clause, and an $84M cap hit. Because of that, Baltimore is facing three choices: trade him to a team of his choice on terms favorable to the acquiring team, cut him and get nothing, or keep him on the roster with an $84M cap hit. If Lamar wanted Miami, the Dolphins could potentially offer Malik Willis plus a conditional 2028 2nd-round pick that could become a 2029 1st-round pick. From Baltimore's perspective, that's a better return than letting Lamar play out the final year of his contract and potentially ending up with only a 2029 compensatory 3rd-round pick. Miami is projected to have around $100M in cap space, and trading for a top-5 QB may be a better use of those resources than overspending in free agency, especially when the front office has traditionally preferred to draft and develop talent. Including Willis would help offset some of the cap concerns, and Lamar's roughly $52M cap hit in 2026 could be lowered through an extension. I could also see Miami using a front-loaded structure, taking advantage of its cap space in 2026 while maintaining flexibility down the road. The biggest benefit for Miami is that it accelerates the rebuild. Instead of spending years hoping to find and develop a franchise QB, Miami would already have one in place while still being able to draft and develop a young quarterback such as LaNorris Sellers behind him. That potentially shortens the timeline back to contention while giving the Dolphins both a proven veteran and a long-term plan at the position. I know some will say Lamar is injury prone. I get it. he has had some injuries. If Lamar’s injuries were the result of him taking off and running down the field you might be onto something. But Lamar’s injuries have been because the OL failed to protect him. And this thumb injury was just a fluke. Miami has a better OL with Paul, Proctor, Brewer than the Ravens have right now. Miami can add a RT in the Offseason and Lamar would have the protection needed for him to stay on the field. #PhinsUp

How does Lamar Jackson end up with the Miami Dolphins? Or as Steve Keim pitches ... the Arizona Cardinals. @InsideFBShow

With the trade deadline on Tuesday the @MiamiDolphins need to reach out to the @Jaguars and trade Seiler for Thomas Jr. Thomas Jr. Douglas Bell Washington Coleman Jr. Would be a good addition to WR room. It would also help Miami if they are unable to get Jeremiah Smith in the draft. #PhinsUp

Sully should call the Titans and get Ward to the @MiamiDolphins for a 5th round pick. They in rebuild and most likely moving on from him. Willis Ward McCord Would be a good QB room the rest of the season and 2027. The competition pushes one in the development and they become a top 10 QB or the Dolphins draft a new QB n 2028. #PhinsUp
Trade: Titans are trading All Pro DT Jeffery Simmons to the Chicago Bears, per sources.

The @MiamiDolphins tank is in full swing. They may not be trying to lose every game. But due to the salary cap issues they are lacking talent at key positions. That road leads to the Miami Dolphins drafting future All-Pro WR Jeremiah Smith. #PhinsUp

The only way to get through the season is to embrace the tank the @MiamiDolphins are going through. The team is trying to win games. But due to cap reasons they lack talent at certain positions which are vital to having a successful season. #PhinsUp

Had a few days to let the game settle in, think about everything going on with the @MiamiDolphins and realized that I'm not ready to give up on Malik Willis being the answer just yet. But I do need to lower my expectations for the season. I've always gone into every season believing in the @MiamiDolphins being a playoff contender. it's time to just completely accept the reality that the team probably only wins 1-2 games and that is not looking like a lock at this point. I've spent since January on the Willis hype train and I'm not abandoning ship yet. previous account (@Chooch2720) has all the stuff I had in wanting Willis to come to Miami. it was hacked in the spring. But check it out.
Replying to @MiamiDolphins
@MiamiDolphins this ain’t looking good today. As much as I am a fan of Willis and was hoping he was gonna be the answer it might be time to give Kyle McCord a shot in the 2nd half.
