What was in 'the best interests of racing" was for The Jockey Club to have taken Kempton seriously in the past 25 years - a racecourse located in Greater London that has a train station right by it. To see what Invades has achieved in a short space of time - getting thousands of young people to low-key tracks/racedays just shows how appallingly Kempton has been left to wither and die by the organisation that has a Royal Charter to act in the "long-term good of British racing." I fail to see how they have lived up to this responsibility, in this case. It is nothing short of a disgrace, and a dereliction of duty, that Kempton may go to the dogs.
