Fandom is a double edged sword. You sometimes fine great people and then sometimes you find entitled pricks who tell everyone what they should think, or engage in group think and beat the dissenters. The latter two has become far too common.

I know it's reddit but genuinely screw the r/starwars sub they are jerks. Every time I've posted art there people are so cruel. SW fans deserve less.

Gotta compete against AI for art nowadays so I feel the need to price accordingly. I agree art is a luxury but it gets to the point of pricing out consumers.

I personally do my stuff pretty cheap because I know my coloring isn't the best. I'm pretty amateur still. Also I am competing with AI.

The average consumer is only paying quadruple digits for like a car repair or rent. I get the consumer is not getting they're unintended audience, but this is a public forum and they'll see it. Send these rates to professional studios.
