About Laz, I already had my own experiences with the dude.
Months ago, I had posted a (now deleted) thread where I detailed my issues with Laz's Neo Revival
Which included:
Saw Laz hate on TL, reminds me hes directly related to someone (which is being friends with them on Backstage) who was part of a Nusky remake team, while the main person was literally pretending to be Kitsune, a literal known groomer, saying he was sorry.

Calling Bryan’s ending a "sad loss of self" as if it’s some tragic emotional melodrama completely misses how viral viral infection mechanics and body horror actually work in the Resident Evil universe.
Bryan wasn't an innocent victim fading away dramatically; he was an infected host succumbing to hyper-accelerated viral mutation after being bitten earlier in the film. Zach Cregger turning him into a bloodthirsty, mutated BOW that slaughters the scientists while desperately begging for a cure is pure, unadulterated body horror not a tear-jerker tragedy.
In Resident Evil, once the virus takes over your cellular biology, you aren't "losing your soul"—you are undergoing catastrophic biological metamorphosis driven by raw parasite aggression. Having him destroy the cure and roar at the military helicopters as a fully mutated creature is a classic survival horror ending: zero plot armor, total viral outbreak.
Stop trying to treat visceral viral mutation like an emotional soap opera. Read the lore. #ResidentEvil
