A screenshots from an initial concept don’t change what we see in the show the character has their own arc, their own set of problems, and their own way of navigating things. It’s reductive to let yourself be influenced just by that, to the point of ignoring their character arc

This is just reductive. There are some duos in which the person of color is allowed to be their own character. Alec and Fiore for instance is one. Gabby and Ellie is another. Spam, however, is not. Sam was made first and foremost to be Spencer’s love interest as the Jorge screenshots prove.

As much as I like the Frenemies trio, one of them NEEDS to leave next episode! What I think will happen is Sam will end up betraying one of his allies and get them out! #dctwt #disventurecamp #disventurecamp5

Out of the 4 most popular fans in DC5 by the DC fandom, who is ur favorite? :) Imo this season does NOT deserve Ara, Dunia, Ren or Sam, they're too good for it! ❤️ #dctwt #disventurecamp #disventurecamp5

I really need ONC to stop doing this shit. Like deadass it’s really getting fucking old. Gabby had to apologize for what? Her answer was never a personal attack towards Oliwia yet somehow she’s the victim? Bye!

okay i’m sorry as someone who loved oliwia since day one i cannoooot defend the bullshit that is whatever the fuck narrative this episode was trying to give. Why is the narrative making Gabby apologize when Oliwia doesn’t??? WHY IS OLIWIA DEMONIZING GABBY?????

Why is it always a black character apologising to oliwia but never her, you know, the WHITE WOMAN? Legit logan 2.0 bullshit

I like Oliwia... BUT can we please be daring & hold a white person accountable? Ren was wrong for not setting a boundary at the very beginning, but Oliwia need to apologise too to them... And now with Gabby? She basically did nothing wrong in this episode 😭 (1/2)

Now that it's finally out I'm so honored by the reception. EP 21 was one of my favorites to record and a blast to bring some of Sam's past to light and show that he's more than an aura farmer in the confessionals. Not to mention fumbling an immunity that should be "mine" 😂

I will admit I did like Sam this episode but that’s mostly because seeing him fail at something he was so confident in is very funny to me lmao
