POSSIBLE LOVE: Unfathomably exact and assured in its mining of every implication of social and cinematic connection and separation generated by this four-way dance; Lee’s vision is passionate yet filled with a startling equanimity, ideal for a genuinely inmense cosmos.

Possible Love — this is an incredible movie and makes 2026 all the more cinematically richer. Jeon Do-yeon and Sul Kyung-gu gives two of the years best performances, Mi-ok and Ho-seok’s story is one of the loveliest, most heartbreaking, realest stories I’ve seen on screen. What an incredible writer-director Lee Chang-dong is; follows up the sensational Burning with another novelistic masterpiece filled with nuance about human relationship. I’m in awe.
Father and daughter, a long road home.
Starring Sandra Hüller and Hanns Zischler, Paweł Pawlikowski's Cannes prizewinner FATHERLAND in now in theaters in Italy, Friday in US, UK, Latin America and Ireland, October 30 in Canada and December 4 in Spain. A MUBI Release.

I wish Ken Russell were still alive today. Not just because he would’ve loved seeing THE DEVILS properly released, but also because he would’ve *killed* the press tour. Ken Russell doing TikToks with assorted influencer dingdongs. Ken Russell on Hot Ones. We could’ve had it all.
