A small propeller plane carrying two pilots crash-landed on a busy road in Fort Myers, Florida, on Saturday, rear-ending a pickup truck in a shocking aviation incident.
According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, the aircraft came down on the roadway and struck the back of the truck. Despite the frightening collision, no injuries were reported, and both pilots and the people involved in the crash appear to have escaped without harm.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is leading the investigation to determine what caused the aircraft to make an emergency landing on the busy roadway.
West Hollywood is expanding its domestic partnership laws to recognize relationships involving multiple romantic partners.
The City Council unanimously passed an ordinance allowing three or more adults in a committed relationship to formally register as a multi-partner domestic relationship and receive legal recognition and protections within the city.
The move expands the city's existing domestic partnership framework beyond traditional two-person relationships, giving polyamorous households a formal way to register their relationships under local law.
The ordinance marks another step in West Hollywood's effort to recognize different types of family and relationship structures.
Gavin Newsom just made one of the most outrageous decisions of his governorship, moving to commute the death sentences of all 548 inmates on California’s death row. These aren’t people serving time for parking tickets. We’re talking about convicted murderers and some of the most heinous criminals in the state, many of whom were sentenced to death for taking innocent lives.
Under Newsom’s decision, every single one of them would have their death sentences replaced with life in prison without the possibility of parole. And his justification? The death penalty is supposedly “incompatible with California’s values.”
Apparently, California’s values now prioritize the lives of convicted killers over the justice sought by the families of their victims.
Imagine being the family of someone brutally murdered, watching the person responsible receive a death sentence, only to have the governor step in and commute that sentence. Imagine having to live with the knowledge that the person who destroyed your family will never face the punishment a jury determined they deserved.
This isn’t compassion for victims. It’s another slap in the face to the families left behind.
California doesn’t have a shortage of problems, but Gavin Newsom seems determined to make sure criminals get another reason to celebrate. Absolutely disgraceful.

Joe Biden once stood firmly behind the traditional definition of marriage, declaring that marriage was between one man and one woman and that states had a responsibility to respect that definition.
Barack Obama also spoke openly about the challenges of illegal immigration, acknowledging the millions of undocumented workers entering the country, the economic consequences for American workers, and the exploitation of illegal labor. He also publicly expressed support for traditional marriage.
Fast-forward, and the same political establishment has dramatically shifted its rhetoric. Suddenly, positions that were once openly defended are treated as unacceptable. Principles that were once considered mainstream are now portrayed as extreme.
And let’s not forget Obama’s executive actions on immigration, including his efforts to work around congressional gridlock while insisting that his enforcement policies did not amount to blanket amnesty.
The question is simple: Were Biden and Obama wrong back then, or are today’s Democrats pretending their own political history never happened?
This is why you should never let politicians rewrite history. The video doesn’t need a commentary track. Their own words expose the hypocrisy.

Listen to what Barack Obama was saying about illegal immigration back in 2007.
He called for stronger border security. He wanted employers held accountable for hiring undocumented workers. He said illegal immigrants should face stiff penalties, learn English, pay fines, and go to the back of the line so they wouldn’t receive preferential treatment over people who followed the legal immigration process.
He even acknowledged that illegal immigration was hurting American workers, driving down wages, and allowing employers to exploit vulnerable workers.
And this wasn’t coming from some conservative Republican. This was BARACK OBAMA, a Democratic presidential candidate!
Now look at how the immigration debate has evolved.
The same Democratic Party that once openly talked about border security, enforcement, penalties, English proficiency, and protecting American workers now has to answer for a very different political conversation surrounding immigration enforcement.
So what changed?
Did the border suddenly stop mattering? Did American workers suddenly stop deserving protection? Did the importance of following the legal immigration process disappear?
Or did the political incentives change?
You cannot spend years telling Americans that border security is necessary, that illegal immigration creates economic problems, and that people must go to the back of the line, only to act as though those concerns are somehow unacceptable when Republicans raise them.
The video is the receipt. The words are his own. And the American people deserve an explanation for the difference between yesterday’s rhetoric and today’s political arguments.
