It's May 3 -- and some of the high spots in West Virginia have up to 16 inches of snow. That's a record.

Mayuary for a highly unusual event about to bring heavy snow to the high terrain on the Blue Ridge over the next few days. Snow accumulations will be around 6-12 and maybe a few inches more due to the warm ground and strong sun angle. Anyone gonna get some laps? @snowshoemtn
The 2022-2023 ski and ride season has come to a close for the Mid-Atlantic. Check out the Season Summary here (opensnow.com/dailysnow/midat…). New England Daily Snow's are still going so be sure to keep a tab for the latest updates.
Last weekend of skiing in the Mid-Atlantic will end with sun and seasonable temperatures. Slopes will be carvable in the morning and soften up during the day. New England resorts still have couple of weeks to go. Changes in the long term show warm and dry through mid April!
We are in the final days/weeks of the season with widespread rain expected this week. Several resorts are only open weekends with most in the Mid-Atlantic closing this weekend. Some late-season hope is possible the week of April 10th with cooler air and a chance of snow...
An impressive storm to say the least has concluded with the biggest snow total's over 3ft through eastern NY, western MA, southern VT, and southern NH. This is a big make up for the lackluster season we have had with many areas around average or even above average snowfall now.
First reports of over 30inches are coming out of western MA, southern VT, and the Adirondacks. Isolated 3ft and even 4ft totals will happen in this heavy snow band. Send us any pictures you have!

It's a free refills kind of day! Last night we received 15" of snow and it's still coming down! ❄️ #HunterMountain
It is dumpin' some New England Chowdah outside. Check out snow totals thus far (ignore black dots). I bet someone will crack 30 inches with this storm and maybe even the 3-foot mark. Happy powder day! Snow weakens this evening and stops Wednesday morning.
An exciting radar loop will continue to get better for resorts throughout the region. A widespread 8-12 inches with many areas approaching 2 feet of snow and some exceeding that. Tag us in your powder pictures. Daily Snow updates on Tuesday.
A look at @SkiMagicVT and @GoreMountain with the potential of big snow totals. Daily snows will continue to provide daily updates ahead of this storm.
