📌 Salafi Scholar: Hands on Chest is Prayer of Jews (Yahood) 🎙️ Shaykh ʿAbd al-Salām al-Shuwayʿir, student of Shaykh Ibn Bāz رحمه الله and the former Grand Muftī of Saudi Arabia, Shaykh ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz Āl al-Shaykh حفظه الله, and lecturer at Masjid al-Nabawī, Madīnah. 👉 Watch how the famous Salafi scholar quoted the Salaf that placing hands on chest for men is the prayer of Jews. The Shaykh also declared the Ḥadīth of placing the hands on the chest as weak and rejected, and clearly mentioned that the Sunnah is to place below the navel. 💭 None of the 4 Madhāhib hold the position of placing the hands on the chest. This is an innovation promoted by extremist Salafis/Ahl-e-Ḥadīth. This is why the Ummah for 1400 years has relied upon one of the four Madhāhib. If there is any most authentic “way” of following the Qurʾān and Sunnah, then it is through one of the 4 Madhāhib.
