Yep. To correct a long series of abuses, I am introducing legislation that removes the Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission and replaces the role with an Executive Director that reports to the Board (where authority resides). Former Chairs of the SEC are ineligible.

The SEC has lost 4 of its last 5 cases in the Supreme Court, thanks to the few that had the courage and resources to fight back against the SEC’s bullying and clinging to stretch legal positions that were not faithful to the law.

We need to make sure things like this gets maximum views. When someone within the crypto community says these things it is easier to dismiss us as biased zealots. Other sitting members of Congress need to witness the engagement to realize the strength of the crypto voting block.

Did you know that the SEC not only did not charge Jed McCaleb, but actively fought and asked the court to prevent Discovery against Jed McCaleb? The guy has sold more XRP than all the charged parties combined and the SEC is protecting private citizen McCaleb and his company?
