🇺🇸 America could be heading toward a crisis bigger than anything we've seen in generations. I spoke with Neil Howe, the historian behind The Fourth Turning, as reports of a constitutional confrontation in Poland were unfolding live. What made the timing extraordinary was everything else happening around us. The AI selloff is accelerating. Another war with Iran is looking increasingly possible. Political tensions are rising across Europe, and the US is heading into another bitterly contested election. Neil has spent decades studying what happens when societies reach moments like this. He sees three major dangers: a devastating financial crash, a breakdown of political institutions, and a major international war. But what really caught my attention was his explanation of how they feed into one another. An economic collapse can destroy public confidence. Political paralysis can invite foreign aggression. And a war can push an already fragile financial system over the edge. We discussed America's deep political divisions, the possibility of rival centers of government emerging during a constitutional crisis, and why countries that have experienced war are taking civilian preparedness far more seriously than Americans. Neil also raised something I hadn't considered enough. We're building an economy increasingly dependent on AI, enormous data centers and interconnected infrastructure, while the power grids and communications networks supporting it remain vulnerable to disruption. His concern isn't that catastrophe is inevitable, but that Americans have grown accustomed to assuming major crises happen somewhere else. And as we spoke, the incoming reports of a possible coup in Warsaw was a reminder of how quickly political confrontations can escalate. The next great crisis may not arrive as one dramatic event, but as several crises hitting at once, each making the others harder to contain. @HoweGeneration

Interesting that David Jensen is essentially agreeing with my post from yesterday. What I wrote: “Wild guess, but I think they offload the risk of physical gold moving out of the U.S. onto the COMEX (their physical metals piggy bank). The bullion banks and the U.S. government won’t empty their own vaults first. They’ll empty the COMEX vaults first.” COMEX vault data also backs this up.
This is a good take by TaoRay: “I didn't originally want to say this—you won't find such a straightforward revelation anywhere else across the entire web. But since so many people have been asking, I'll just lay it out. The underlying reason for the pressure on gold prices is actually a massive positive signal. One major abnormal factor behind the recent gold price movements is that many major central banks are taking advantage of this window to "secretly" ship gold back from the US to their own countries. The method they're using is to sell off the US gold and then repurchase it in new markets, completing the swap. Why go about it this way? Because under the current market sentiment, the buildup of selling pressure would be even greater. For example, if you sell ten tons of gold, the price will immediately get smashed down. Then you use shadow buyers to gradually repurchase those ten tons in batches, and the price won't even climb back to its previous high. Rinse and repeat, and you'll end up buying even more at a better deal. That's exactly what I mean when I say that national-level forces are ramping up their gold reserves right now—but since they're buying by weight, of course they want it cheaper. This is a form of market manipulation: suppressing prices to accumulate. But you need to understand that they hammer the price down hard when selling, take it slow when buying, and keep the cycle going, so prices stay under pressure. Yet in reality, physical gold is getting scarcer and scarcer until it hits a tipping point—ultimately, supply and demand will dictate the price. It will explode upward in an instant. So smart investors should see through the market sentiment, realize that the sentiment itself is just a tactic, and at a time like this, follow the lead of those national-level forces. Of course, the prerequisite is to keep an eye on your cash flow.” #Gold #Silver

🚨 SILVER RIGGED: HERE’S THE PROOF Silver just crashed 60%. Trillions got wiped out. And right at the bottom? The 8 BIGGEST silver shorts are STILL holding 254 MILLION ounces short. And they OPENED THOSE POSITIONS RIGHT AT THE ATH. According to longtime COT analyst Ed Steer, this is the first time in 25 years he has seen anything like this. Between 2008 and 2016, 5 major banks got caught manipulating silver: 1. JPMorgan — $920M fine (2020), admitted wrongdoing 2. Scotiabank — $127.5M fine (2020), fraudulent trading 3. HSBC — $76.6M fine, spoofing 4. Deutsche Bank — $75.5M fine, rigging 5. Morgan Stanley — $1.5M fine, spoofing These were REAL manipulation and spoofing cases. Traders were convicted. Banks paid hundreds of millions. And regulators were STILL handing out precious-metals spoofing penalties and trading bans in 2026. Now look at this 2026 crash. Silver down 60%. Historically, this is exactly where you would expect the biggest commercial shorts to start covering aggressively. This time, they didn’t. Why? That’s the part I’m digging into now. And when I have more information, I’ll post it here first. Remember, I’ve predicted all the market tops and bottoms for the last 15 years. When I EXIT the markets completely, I’ll say it here publicly, like I always do. Turn notifications on. Many people will wish they had followed me sooner.

David Hunter sees gold reaching $7,000 an ounce and silver climbing to $200 over the next three to six months. He believes precious metals likely carved out a major low after recent selling washed out bullish sentiment, pointing to silver's prior surge from the $40s to $122 in less than three months as precedent. In his view, falling bond yields will push the U.S. dollar down toward 82 to 84, fueling the move. He expects this next rally to deliver higher highs and an even steeper advance than the last.

Metals Focus expects India’s silver imports to fall to around 4,000 metric tons this year from about 7,200 metric tons last year. Investor demand has stayed subdued, partly because of the large quantities accumulated during last year’s buying spree. It expects gold to outperform silver over the next six months, though silver could catch up if global conditions stabilize. “Gold is a much larger liquid market, has a lot of institutional buying support, including that of central banks, which is sort of absent when it comes to silver,” a Metals Focus analyst said.
