Watched this sad and yet beautiful performance in Suzhou. Apparently the song tells a story of a young couple who couldn't be together and who eventually turned into butterflies and flew away.

These are a few pictures of the greenery in Shenzhen. We are made to believe that big cities cannot be green. It all boils down to planning. And policy. #shenzhen

These are roads in Shenzhen. And yeah before someone goes off with the usual 'this is only in the big cities', No!! This is normal across the country. Why are we such a backward country? Nationalism only will not get us anywhere!!!

This is a regular taxi in Shenzhen. Booked via the local taxi app called Didi. The standards of a basic taxi will shock most Indians. Clean, high specs and absolutely professional drivers. Why can't we deliver such basics in India?

Driving in Shenzhen from HK. The first thing that hits you is the cleanliness on the roads. Can we even imagine this in any city in India?

Breakfast this morning on Etihad. Clearly on par or may he even better than the best airlines in the world. Nothing to choose between Etihad and Emirates.....

Etihad has closed the gap with Emirates over the years. The new seats on the Boeing 787 are clearly on par in terms of space and comfort. The only weird bit is that seat faces the rear. :-(

These are toilets in a mall in Abu Dhabi. Spacious, beautifully lit, absolutely clean and smell like a garden. How do they manage this? Is it only about investing big money? Is it the cleaning routine? Or something more?
