Have you ever seen a Disney card like this? 👀 Inspired by classic VHS covers from the 1990s, these Retro Blockbuster Booklet Autographs can be found inside boxes of 2026 Topps Vault Disney.

Just hit Arcane in Origins! @origins_tcg Just wanted to share whats working for me. To my Marvel Snap homies, if you decide to play this the Queen of Hearts legendary gives you a 3 cost Arnim Zola (starts in your hand) in spell form that you can copy for with that 2 cost card Merlin's Prophecy. Also Sandman can reduce to 0 so you get a lot of value from him for not only combo plays but also pinging threats as they pop up. I feel like I am screaming into the void and I am not sure what gets my posts views anymore but I do not see anyone else doing this and I am wondering why.

Hey Bynx, great to meet you. I'm the founder of Koin Games, the studio building Origins. Like Kevin, I'm a big fan. I've been watching since the early days of Snap, back when you won the Conquerors broadcast. I want to start by saying I appreciate that you take the time to look up a company before deciding on working with them. Hopefully, after I clear a few things up, you might still be open to the idea of working with Origins. Here is a quick history on how Origins TCG started with blockchain and NFTs and ended up like Counter-Strike on the Steam marketplace. From day one we have had one simple dream: to bring the physical collecting experience from Pokémon, One Piece, and Riftbound into digital TCGs. There's something so special about being able to fill out your binder, trade with friends, and collect things that have real value, even if you never intend to sell them. As my wife always reminds me, "Why does it matter if the price goes up if you never sell anything?" 🙂 When we started this journey, it was at the very beginning of using blockchain and NFTs for games. There were a lot of messy things back then, but there was also so much hope that blockchain was the answer to true ownership in digital. So we started to build in that direction. We partnered with Immutable, and we announced (but never launched) Project O as a game that would use blockchain and NFT tech to give players true ownership. But as we kept building, the adoption we all expected never happened, the stigma with gamers kept growing, and ultimately we realized that if we wanted to reach our goal of true ownership in digital, we needed to look outside of blockchain. The obvious answer was to follow in the footsteps of the most successful digital collectible ecosystem of all time, Counter-Strike, and to build on Steam. Just to make it very clear we have zero blockchain in our game, and we never will. Origins is simply a really fun game that gives every player every card for free, and just like Counter-Strike, every item you can buy is limited, rare, and truly yours. We know not everyone cares, but we believe players deserve free and fair competition. We believe players deserve to own the items they choose to spend money on. I'll finish by saying that while it hasn't been the smoothest path from where we started to where we are now, I'm very proud of the journey we've been on. Most of my favorite products and companies, like Apple, Fortnite, and Tesla, made some massive mistakes along the way to finding something great, and I believe that's what's happening with Origins. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and if you're open to it, I would love to jump on a call and chat. My DMs are open.
I've been asked about Origins TCG a bunch the last week, Here's why I won't support it 👇 TLDR Origins tried to launch 2 years ago as Project O, a game focused on Crypto and NFTs, and is owned by Koin Games, that is a studio built around NFTs and Web3 (1/6)

That’s completely irrational. Why spend $125 on an enchanted when you can spend $4K to pull a Poco Loco.

I don't know how to fix the problem with Disney Lorcana TCG leagues. I run a league at Games of Berkeley. I'm not a staff member of the store. I get a small discount on purchases at the store in exchange for running league. League attendance is down. Everybody knows this. We struggle to fire most weeks. We have 6-8 regular attendees. Some weeks we only get 4. Some of it is schedules have changed for some of our regulars. They have kids, who now have soccer on Monday nights. Others are commuting home from work, and its tough to justify going to league after a long day and commute. It doesn't feel worth it for them to come to league. We used to have 20+ players every week in set 3 or 4. Things dropped off a lot with Fabled and rotation. We lost a lot of players to other games. Some of our regulars are playing Riftbound, Gundam, or other games now. We have some new folks come. We had a family come. We had some new folks come back last year in November or December. They come for 3-4 weeks and they get crushed losing every game to the regulars who have been coming every week since set 1 or 2. People who play fully loaded meta decks. Then they stop coming. Why would they? They just lose. One of our locals has started a newbie night to support those folks. But if the store doesn't have the Bandwith and Prizing to support multiple nights... that doesn't work. We've been out of Attack of the Vine! since 3 weeks into the set. You're also competing space wise with all the other games that the store might be running: mtg, Riftbound, one piece, etc. My league is up against pauper mtg. We used to out number them. Now they vastly out number us. I genuinely dont know what to do. My store is not on track to get legendary tier. We're a little off track. We're in the standard range over the past 4 sets, and we're short of the prorated November 1st deadline for the prorated Legendary tier. Even if we get Legendary, we probably wont be able to keep it up. Some of it is my local store could be doing more. We dont do a big release case tournament, and I've told them multiple times that an event like that would draw numbers and sell tickets. But some of it is the lack of incentive to come to league. The promos are unplayable garbage most of the time. The pins are gone. Nobody cares about the stickers and boxes. They sit and rot. I have people turn them down when I try to give them out. #disneylorcana #lorcana #disneylorcanatcg
