Even though the weather was not ideal but we had a blast targeting Lake Simcoe’s famed JUMBO Perch with my little buddy Zech! We were out with good friends, Scott & Zech’s dad, Ralph in the @outfitterfinancial boat! This what fishing should be truly about, getting our youth on
the water to enjoy this sport that we’re so passionate about! Spending time either good friends and at the end of the day enjoying a feed of Yellow Perch!😋#DaiwaCanada #Grundéns #VigorEyewear #MustangSurvival #YamahaMotorCanada

Success on the water often comes down to point hopping. Don't linger on empty water—keep moving until you find the school, then capitalize on the bite. #bamtrail #bassanglermagazine #bassfishing #fishingtips #anglerlife #largemouthbass #outdoors

Lake sturgeon have been swimming in Ontario waters since the time of dinosaurs. Some can live for more than 100 years, making them one of Ontario's longest-lived freshwater fish.
To estimate a sturgeon's age, biologists examine growth rings in a cross-section of its pectoral fin ray, much like counting tree rings. The fish is then safely released.
This information helps guide conservation and recovery efforts for this iconic species.

It was a familiar story for Takahiro Omori and @Starlink Team Series partner Dean Rojas on Day 1 of the @Toyota Heritage Cup: With little knowledge of Tims Ford and no practice period, the veteran duo took to the backs of stained-water creeks and went to work with power fishing techniques to outpace the rest of the field.
