Tate McRae’s new song is fascinating as a cultural signifier. The lyrics are a completely incoherent merger of trad aesthetics with girlboss aspiration and most of the lines don’t actually mean anything or connect to one another.
It’s like the song was written by a TikTok algorithm.
I was so close to spending $30 on the blu-ray for this assuredly awful movie because it comes with this video as a bonus feature
I love that a joke song about older women is also completely perfect and easily a contender for best pop song ever written
