There's something special about watching a big German Shepherd become so gentle around someone so small.
These babies have no idea how big their furry companions really are. They just see a warm place to cuddle, a familiar face, and a friend who's always nearby.
And the German Shepherds? Watching how differently each one responds to these little humans is what makes this compilation so wonderful.
Some of these moments will make you smile. A few might melt your heart.
Which one is your favorite?
The Headless Horseman has officially upgraded his ride for Halloween.
Forget the horse. He's got a German Shepherd, a pumpkin bucket, and absolutely no intention of slowing down.
The only problem? His ride keeps stopping to sniff everything.
Even the Headless Horseman can't tell a German Shepherd what to do.
Want to know what pure happiness sounds like? Turn up the volume.
This little boy has a German Shepherd for a playmate, and apparently, that's all the entertainment he needs.
Every time his furry buddy gets moving, another round of uncontrollable belly laughs follows.
The German Shepherd might think they're just playing, but he's giving this little boy memories that'll last a lifetime.
That laughter is absolutely contagious.

The real neighbor from hell!
Treats his own property like a literal dump! Attracting vermin, now the neighbors have rats! He doesn’t seem to care or act as if he even knows better?
He promises to clean it up, but I guess that remains to be seen, and even if he did, would he keep it that way?
If you know me, you know I love a good fight, but I think this neighbor would have broken me!
Sorry, but I don’t live in filth, and I wouldn’t tolerate living next to people that find this acceptable. What’s next? A cauldron in the front lawn with the local wildlife stewing in it for dinner?
Nope, not me! I’d be out! ✌️

You can trust your own experience. You still have to trust everyone sharing the sky with you.
Philip Haegler, a two-time Brazilian hang-gliding champion, died while paragliding in Rio after a collision with a hang glider sent him into a building. Police later concluded the other pilot had failed to follow safety rules.
That’s the part that gets me. You spend years learning a sport, becoming exceptionally good at it, and someone else’s mistake can still cost you everything.

The congresswoman chose an interesting shade of GREEN for her interview with CAIR prior to the raid on her home.
Some call it the “RED-GREEN Alliance.” It should ring a bell. Perhaps her choice of adornment was a miscalculation or a message. I know nothing.
Also, do you know what green represents? I didn’t until I heard about it after the unrest in France.
Is it fashionable in fall to wear this color of green? Maybe?
The more you know!

NEW: A 1-year-old boy was killed when police opened fire on his family’s car over a shoplifting call. Now the bodycam video is out.
Kohen Wiley was in the car with his mother in a Walmart parking lot in Senatobia, Mississippi, on June 14 when an officer fired into the vehicle. Kohen died, and another woman in the car was wounded. His mother says the car was moving away from officers and that she held her baby up so they could see him. In the newly leaked bodycam footage, officers say afterward they never saw a child in the car. Mississippi’s attorney general ruled the shooting justified this week and won’t file charges. But the leaked videos reportedly don’t include the bodycam from the officer who fired. A baby is dead over a shoplifting call, and his family deserves to see every second of what happened.
Should every bodycam video be released to the public after a police shooting?

🚨 Drazan: Oregon went from TOP 20 to BOTTOM 8.
@ChristineDrazan: “Oregon was a top-20 economy just four years ago, and she drop-kicked it into the bottom eight in four years.”
“We’ve lost 25,000 jobs in a single year here.”
Her message to Oregonians: “I don’t care what your party affiliation is. If you believe this is not good enough for you and your family… I need people to turn out to get this done.”

Matthew 5:21 (NIV)
“You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’”
Jesus quotes the Old Testament commandment and then expands it in the following verses (Matthew 5:22), teaching that anger and contempt toward another person are related to the same heart issue. This is a clear New Testament affirmation of the prohibition against taking a human life.
This verse above reads to me as though anyone carrying heavy anger and contempt is equal to taking a human life.
Liberals are so angry, I believe they are driven to madness. 😈

I know this is serious, but does anyone else see Godzilla or it it just me? 😳
What exactly is a shop owner supposed to learn from having his business looted or burned to the ground? What political point is he supposed to take away while standing in the ashes?
And those fires don’t care about anyone’s cause. They can spread to homes, trap people inside and put firefighters in danger trying to save strangers.
People can disagree over immigration, government policy or policing. None of that gives anyone permission to destroy what somebody else spent years building.
Whatever your cause, you don’t get to hand an innocent person the bill for your anger.

Calling it “street justice” makes brutality sound like a neighborhood settling a disagreement.
According to this post, a homeless woman was hit in the knee and threatened with being thrown into a river. Being homeless shouldn’t mean living at the mercy of whoever is willing to hurt you.
This is why basic public order matters. When threats and violence go unanswered, the most vulnerable people pay first. There’s nothing compassionate about leaving someone on the street to fend for herself and calling that tolerance.

What else does this neighbor complain about? The rain landing on her driveway?
Leaves don’t recognize property lines. Unless you actually saw your neighbor dumping them in your yard, finding more the day after you cleaned isn’t proof of anything. It’s fall.
Calling someone a “shameless creature” over leaves is ridiculous. I’d rather spend ten minutes cleaning the yard than spend years making it miserable to live next door.

Fifty years ago today, on October 21, 1976, a rock band from Topeka, Kansas, released their fourth studio album, Leftoverture. They'd spent the previous three years recording albums and touring across America, but they still hadn't found that big hit that would put them on the national charts.
The band was Kansas, and their breakthrough came from a song that guitarist Kerry Livgren brought to the group near the end of rehearsals for the new album.
It was called “Carry On Wayward Son.”
Livgren had been doing much of the songwriting for Leftoverture, and this particular song was a personal one. He was searching for answers in his own life, and the lyrics reflected that spiritual journey, with a message about finding peace after years of struggling to find your way.
The recording begins with those wonderful four-part vocal harmonies, followed by one of the most recognizable guitar riffs of the 1970s. Steve Walsh delivers a tremendous lead vocal, while Kerry Livgren and Rich Williams provide the powerful guitar work. The keyboards, bass, and Phil Ehart's drums give the song its driving rhythm, with several wonderful changes in tempo along the way.
At more than five minutes long, it wasn't exactly the kind of song record companies expected to become a hit single. Radio listeners had other ideas.
“Carry On Wayward Son” became Kansas's first Top 40 hit, reaching No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 in April 1977. The album climbed to No. 5, eventually selling millions of copies, and Kansas finally had the national recognition they'd been working toward.
Half a century later, the song is still a favorite on classic rock radio, and those opening harmonies are enough to tell you exactly what's coming.
Here's “Carry On Wayward Son” by Kansas. Turn it up and enjoy your evening! 🎶
