There is nothing special about what she did. She’s simply undervaluing herself. There is so much significance in a man kneeling down to propose to his woman. It is a gesture of love, honour and respect. When you ask him to stand up, you’re dismissing the value he’s trying to show you. I hope she doesn’t turn around and complain when he starts disrespecting her in marriage because, in a way, she’s already setting the tone for how she wants to be treated.
