Umbra is now the cheapest privacy solution onchain.
Deposit, Own & Trade over 150+ stocks/coins on Solana and Robinhood today.
We are extremely opinionated on privacy and its ideal form factor => solana:PRVT6TB7uss3FrUd2D9xs2zqDBsa3GbMJMwCQsgmeta
We are extremely opinionated on privacy and its ideal form factor. That means making choices that are in the best interest of our users at every step. You can see this in the way the network is designed
Shared some thoughts on our existing compliance structures in place given some incidents with alternate privacy protocols and for anyone that reads to the end there might be a bit of alpha

Weโve started rolling out token Rights for every asset listed on 01Resolved.
What token holders own, what they control, and how value reaches them is often unclear. Rights makes these relationships explicit, so investors can understand what they hold and compare it with other crypto assets.
Open an organizationโs Overview page and click โRightsโ to explore.
Using @UmbraPrivacy as an example, you can see solana:PRVT6TB7uss3FrUd2D9xs2zqDBsa3GbMJMwCQsgmeta holder's treasury and governance rights, who owns the IP and brand, and who controls token issuance and protocol fees.
For Umbra, the โHow Value Flowsโ map traces shielding fees through the protocol to a revenue wallet. Umbraโs documented policy is to transfer revenue to the DAO monthly. Distributions or buybacks then require a passed proposal.
Each Rights tab includes an 01Resolved review date and change history, and distinguishes documented policies from verified flows.

I've spent a lot of time lately researching privacy and what it looks like at scale for onchain finance
ZEC turns 10 today, which is a good reminder of how far this corner of the industry has come
I'm a ZEC bull. I think it's a phenomenal private store of value. But it isn't what the future of private onchain finance looks like
Going deeper into this vertical, I've tried to work out what the right design principles and tradeoffs are. That's what led me to @UmbraPrivacy
I believe Umbra is the correct first-principles approach to private onchain finance

Introducing @NimbusPrivacy, the privacy network powering Umbra.
Nimbus is a multi-chain privacy network powered by zero-knowledge proofs, built so any wallet, exchange or app can add private balances at the speed users expect.
Here's how it works. โ
The main catalyst for privacy becoming a trillion dollar asset class is by becoming quantum-secure money while maintaining the basic functions needed to meet the demands of the crypto consumer. This is my ultimate case for why Umbra is generationally undervalued, right here and now.
Umbra is crypto-agile by design. Every primitive sits behind a versioned suite with its own identifier, so moving to a post-quantum scheme is a planned upgrade, not a redesign. Umbra doesn't need to wait for the threat of quantum to show up before it becomes quantum-secure. Most of the move is already done and the rest is a short step away.
Anything that has to stay safe for years is post-quantum today on Umbra. Anything that only has to hold up for the next few years can be replaced quickly, and will be replaced quickly here soon.
Two variables that make the case for Umbra as undervalued privacy infrastructure:
1. Post-quantum privacy protocols will become extremely valuable as the threat of quantum continues to increase.
2. Umbra is prepared for post-quantum, today.
The hybrid investor-consumer in crypto needs safe custody of their assets, and the ability to use any and all DeFi primitives with those assets. Umbra is the only privacy protocol that meets both demands.
not only am i not worried about the crypto community's ability to handle the upcoming ai/quantum threat, i will venture to say that in the next 2 yrs the world will realize crypto is far better prepared for it than the rest of the internet and finance. we've had a trillion dollar *irreversible* honey pot for a decade, producing a far more battletested system and adversarial security culture than pretty much anywhere else on earth.

agree that majority of the flows are event-driven flows
however, I strongly believe that both $CRED and $UMBRA are criminally undervalued
Credible is doing $6m in rev and trades at 1.3x multiple - the market is basically pricing in zero future growth for this biz. meanwhile their payment volume is +50% QoQ
Umbra just launched their v2, which I'd argue is currently the best privacy solution on Solana. their v1 was built on top of Arcium, but ran into headwinds using that stack, so they stripped it away, and built the entire stack from the ground up using zk (Nimbus). go deposit some assets into the shielded pools and give it a go and come to your own realizations
the peers for UMBRA trade in the magnitudes of 10-1000x higher, but I'd argue that their tech stack already, and will continue to, rival its peers. I currently view UMBRA as the most asymmetric, pure-play bet on privacy for crypto-specific use cases: trading & payments
I continue to believe that there are some incredibly undervalued, fundamental companies in the metadao ecosystem and expect these to reprice in due time
(nfa // disc. long both assets)

Iโm going to assume this is some type of a joke cause if not Iโm not sure what to say lol
I would rather quit umbra and nuke my tokens to hades before i let umbra have a second token. There arenโt any teams (i can assure you) that are as committed to a single token no equity and public ownership/accountability/transparency as we are. I spent my reputation vouching for this model so much so that i am now focused on setting the standard on the otherside
Umbra will be the only token for umbra and nimbus

Believe me guys, youโre still not bullish enough on @UmbraPrivacy.
After Solana, theyโre coming to Robinhood.
> $500,000+ shielded capital in less than a week
> Token pumped 32% on this news
> +50% after the Umbra V2 upgrade
> +200% token pump in a month!
Theyโre extremely active and this is only the beginning.
You know why?
- Zcash is a private chain with a $21B market cap
- Canton Network is a private chain for institutions with a $5B market cap
- NEAR Protocol added privacy and went from a $1B market cap to $6.5B
- Umbra is the privacy layer for money, still under a $6M market cap
NFA. DYOR. But you know what to do.
Big pockets or not, privacy is a fundamental right.
i'm not a whale and i'm not a target. my bag is mostly ownership coins, and my wallet is still nobody's business. but this is not how ownership should feel.
income, holds, side wallets, p2p. one solscan search links all of it, and AI makes that search take seconds now.
people with real money face this at a much bigger scale. they pay salaries instead of receiving them, join auctions and OTC deals, and i bet some skip deals entirely because the project announces it and the trail leads straight to their wallet.
today i shielded my entire bag in under 5 minutes. first time everything sits in one place and onchain nobody sees it.
it's about time to see things start to change for the better with tools like @UmbraPrivacy
