Good news, bad news, time change version.
Good news: @RocRedWings baseball will be another hour closer on Sunday.
Bad news: Rudy can't see the clocks and will be off balance for what will feel like a very long week.
Friends w/ many folks across the states are being hit w/ some really bad cold waves. Please remember to keep an ear, an eye, a path out for your neighbors. Especially those who are infirm, older or have tiny kiddos. Check in w/ them & see how they're doing. If you're running out

It's also a good time to clean out those closets & donate what you do not use. Coats, hats, gloves, mittens, sweaters, all those thing you know you will not wear. Donate them all to a local shelter, church, clothes cupboard. What you don't wear someone else will.
Today is a good day to reach out to someone you know who might be lonely, feeling little, needing a kind word. Make a call, a text, an old school personal visit. Ask if they're okay, if they need anything & most importantly listen to them. Every day #NiceMatters #KindnessCounts

To me, today, the reality of the Holocaust seems more real & horrific than it ever has. When you look at our world, our country the parallels seem so obvious & each day we are closer to watching the past become the present. We cannot, should not let that happen.
While we live out this storm that's already hitting some around the country, a quick thought from me. Reach out to your friends and neighbors, check in with your elderly or infirm humans. Make sure they're okay, ask if they need anything, offer your help.
Our communities work best when we look out for each other, when we lend a hand, when we show we care. Whether it's shoveling their walk, bringing them a meal, visiting with them via computer or phone or even an old school face to face visit, let them know you're there for them.
