BREAKING: Microsoft just dropped the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for Copilot Studio.
No more manual updates, no more endless maintenance—connect once, and your agents automatically stay fresh with real-time updates.
With MCP, building agents just got easier:
⚡ Instant Action: Connect once, stay updated forever. MCP auto-syncs new features straight into your Copilot agents.
🌐 Marketplace Power: Plug into pre-built MCP connectors or craft your own. Your data, your rules, enterprise-grade security.
🚀 Customize & Extend: Full SDK support means zero limits. Build the integrations your business demands.
Stop playing the manual-update game. This is automation without the babysitting.
Microsoft just dropped Model Context Protocol in Copilot Studio. Go leverage it before someone else does.
SharePoint can build a full page section from the work behind it.
Open a page:
Copilot > Create a Section
Ground it in:
> Project plan
> Status update
> Meeting transcript
> Decision log
Copilot generates the content AND layout.
Switch between options.
Refine it.
Add to page.
Turn project evidence into the project page.
Example prompt below 👇
✨ Create an executive project status section using the files I attached and the existing content on this page.
Include:
1. Overall project status with a source-supported explanation
2. Confirmed milestones and dates
3. Decisions already confirmed
4. Decisions still required
5. The top risks and their documented mitigations
6. Actions with explicitly named owners and deadlines
7. Missing or conflicting information
Do not infer an approval, owner, deadline or project status.
Label unsupported information as Unconfirmed.
Layout:
- Executive summary at the top
- Status cards for milestones, decisions, risks and actions
- A concise action table at the bottom
- Match the visual style of the existing page
Include the supporting source name beside every decision, date and action. ✨
Before we blame Copilot Credit pricing, can we discuss why “hello” sends your Copilot Studio agent through the entire employee handbook?
Just spotted Education for Cowork. Created by Microsoft. 👀
The plugin lists skills for:
> Accessible learning materials
> AI rollouts across schools
> Classroom discussion insights
> Accreditation evidence
Plus governance reviews, substitute packs and policy rollouts.
The recurring work behind running a school is a HUGE target for agents.
This week is all about plugins 🔌
GROK 4.6 just showed up in my Copilot Studio model picker!!
This model was built for long-running agents. Research, coding, and complex tasks that require sustained reasoning and tool use.
Anyone already building with it? 👀

OneDrive is getting CUSTOM SKILLS. Yes, OneDrive.
Microsoft’s OneDrive + Copilot event brought some serious upgrades:
> Analyze multiple spreadsheets and generate charts.
> Organize messy project folders with Copilot.
> Create interactive HTML reports.
> Save repeatable processes as Markdown skills.
> Edit HTML and collaborate on Markdown.
> Sync up to 1 MILLION items on Windows and Mac.
Plus Hero Links: update permissions without sending everyone a new URL.
Availability varies by feature.
The reusable skills are what I want to test first. Rebuilding the same report every month gets old FAST.
If you missed the event yesterday, watch the full event and demos 👇

Copilot Cowork just got a serious upgrade. PROJECTS are here!
Give each project its own instructions. Keep the project context together. Find the files created by its tasks under Outputs.
Client engagements. App builds. Content production.
When you’re handing real work to an agent, the instructions and context deserve as much attention as the prompt.
This update was long overdue.
LET’S GOO!
Using AI to decide whether a Dataverse field equals “Approved” is certainly a way to support the AI economy.
Microsoft is RETIRING Critique and Council inside Copilot Researcher.
Critique had Claude review GPT’s report.
Council ran GPT and Claude in parallel.
Both Frontier previews start disappearing in late October. Retirement completes by November 14.
Researcher and Analyst remain.
I still want models challenging each other before the answer reaches me.
Retire the modes. Keep the second opinion.

Here’s what’s inside. 👇

One detail people will miss:
Sales for Cowork and Service for Cowork are separate from the Dynamics 365 plugins.
Sales for Cowork includes CRM-agnostic skills that work with uploaded data.
You don’t need a Dynamics 365 license for those skills.
Skills are now inside Copilot Brand Kits! 👀
Create a skill or import one directly into your kit, and make it available to everyone who has access.
I’d put the team’s presentation playbook here.
> How we turn a case study into a customer story.
> How we adapt a technical deck for executives.
> The review checklist we keep pasting into Copilot.
Those workflows can now live alongside the brand assets the team already uses.
Build the skill once. Share it through the Brand Kit.
Why are you rebuilding comparison tables by hand?
In Word:
Select the paragraphs > Copilot
Ask:
"Turn this into a table. Columns: Option, Capability, Cost, Limitation. Mark missing details Not stated."
Review > Insert below
Keep the original while you check every row.
Less retyping. Easier comparison.
Example 👇
In Word, select the paragraphs describing your options.
Select Copilot from the mini toolbar, then enter:
✨
Convert the selected text into a comparison table.
Columns:
Option | Capability | Cost | Limitation
Use one row per option.
Preserve exact prices, currencies, units and conditions.
Use only information explicitly stated in the selection.
Write Not stated when a detail is missing.
✨
Review the result, then choose Insert below.
Check each row against the original paragraphs.
