The Lower Murray research team is set up at the Riverland Field Day in Barmera, waiting for the community to drop by and chat about fish sampling techniques, including electrofishing.
Please come, say g'day and learn about different electrofishers, when and how they are used.
Field days are in full force now that we can get out and about within our communities again.
Here are some photo highlights from a recent field day by the banks of the Edward/Kolety River in NSW. 📷

Some drone footage to capture a great weekend of getting out on Wiradjuri Country and learning about the environment!
A definite highlight was flying the drone - a newer technique used to measure vegetation condition.
There is no better place to learn about the environment than being out on-Country!
The @UniCanberra staff have once again been out with Down The Track Youth Enterprises to teach the next gen of ecologists about the importance of environmental water.
