On several occasions I've seen them go back and forth and act like overseers to Louisiana Creoles by trying to tell them who they are. Very white of them

They act paternalistic about Louisiana Creoles like they birthed them.

This is from a 1994 New York City Board of Education curriculum guide titled United States & New York State History, Grade 8: A Multicultural Perspective...in it you see an account of Jim Crow in TX and how segregation worked.

Another aspect of this to watch: Black Boomers seem to be the last of us to really do the neighborhood cohort/association thing too, which is imperative when it comes to preserving & protecting yo community. If we stop doing it, we’ll be even more vulnerable

I’m fairly confident that the power players themselves are just waiting for Boomers to die off in the most historic of Black communities so they can go w/ their move. But again, there’s no follow up Gen on our side at all. The most radical are the youngest & the oldest of us.

Its far more racist to have a caste system that puts mixed people above you than to historically consider them black and the history of other black ethnicities has proven that

Yeah, it was built where good Samaritan Hospital (Black hospital) used to be in downtown’s 3rd Ward. Black man, Joe McNeely, was accused of shooting a ✋🏻 cop, both wounded. After being taken to the hospital, he was dragged out by local whites & hanged there near midfield today.

NYPD officers are issuing criminal tickets for low-level offenses like loitering, panhandling and littering in the South Bronx and in East New York, Brooklyn at higher rates than anywhere else in the city, according to a new data analysis.
In 2025 and the first half of this year, more than 60% of the criminal summonses the NYPD issued for loitering were written by officers in just one of the city’s 78 police precincts — the 40th, in the South Bronx — according to an analysis published earlier this week by the Data Collaborative for Justice at John Jay College.
