yeah well we’re not too heartbroken about that bud
Chris Johnston: The Bruins are, I think, a team that could make some sense in terms of pursuing Dylan Larkin, but he’s not currently interested - Early Trading (10/22)

I’d be interested in Larkin as long as Hagens isn’t part of the return. Zacha and maybe a 1st round pick would have to be the blue chips heading back. You just need Hagens and Letourneau more in 3 years then you need Larkin right now.
David Pagnotta: Re Bruins: They've got assets, they've got cap space, and they've got a couple guys at the top of that totem pole there in management...that are itching, to a degree, to start taking some swings - DFO Insider (10/21)

Gotta give the guy credit: Elias Lindholm has been great so far. 10 points in 12 games. Great two-way game. Working great with James Hagens and Casey Mittelstadt. Still a long way to go. But a great redemption story so far.

Can’t believe I’m saying this right now because the Bruins haven’t had this type of muscle (and actually used it consistently). Don’t poke the bear.

I'm not convinced Winnipeg is getting a major package here. In theory, you'd think they would, but I think a trade needed to happen, there wasn't a whole lot of light at the end of the tunnel, and New Jersey probably offered just enough to get Winnipeg to move on.

I hope I'm wrong. I hope Winnipeg FLEECED New Jersey - Hellebuyck put them in a shit position, and I like when Winnipeg does well. So I hope they come out on top.

honestly thank God it's New Jersey and not Carolina, Florida or Vegas
Sources: New Jersey and Winnipeg are working on a Connor Hellebuyck deal. We will see what develops.

Happy Hellebuyck trade day!

this is embarrassing
The Knicks' assistant coaches did not receive their championship rings during Tuesday's ceremony, despite being handed ring boxes, according to league sources. Many longtime employees at Madison Square Garden will not receive rings at all, per team sources. Those employees got their hopes up in late September, when they were sent a fake championship ring offer as part of a phishing test. nyti.ms/4jB0yvR

When it’s 10:30pm and you want to watch more hockey but due to blackouts you’re forced to watch Seattle vs. Utah

Leafs scored before I could put money on them

people were really down on the Bruins heading into this season, many of which having them missing the playoffs so much synergy here

October hockey doesn't get any more entertaining than what we saw tonight in Ottawa. Can we order seven more of these Sens-Panthers tilts for the spring?
