In light of the very appropriate official travel advisory released by @EqualityFlorida for Queer folks and People of Color for the state in which I currently live, I just want to say, in our lab, @LLACE_UCF, everyone is welcome . ✊🏽🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

✨ NEW PROGRAM AT UCF ✨ Thanks to a grant from the @NASEM_Gulf, @UCF is now accepting applications to our Gulf Scholars Program-open to all undergraduate majors!! Applications are due March 24! Check out gulfscholars.research.ucf.ed… for more info ✨#RT

Finally got @LLACE_UCF all in one place! Proud of these incredible humans and the hard work and perserverence they have shown to get here today. Onward and upward and excited about another year! #proud @UCFCoastal

Also, it’s super fun to see a former colleague has been cited numerous times in this book, so grateful that our paths crossed for a short time, @Katey_Cooper! Hopefully we can find a fun project to collaborate together on in the near future! #InclusiveTeaching

I have been furiously reading #InclusiveTeaching by @vijisathy and @DrMrsKellyHogan as classes are just beginning at @UCF. It is a MUST read even if you think you are an inclusive instructor already. Entering the semester with a growth mindset is important for our students! 1/2

Excited to continue my collaborations with @Tulane and many other partners across the Northern Gulf of Mexico funded through the @noaa Restore Science Program. restoreactscienceprogram.noa… @UCF @UCFCoastal #actionscience #coproductionofknowledge

Maybe the proudest moment of my professional career: publishing a paper with three of my graduate students. Incredibly humbled that I get to work with such brilliant and creative humans.@LLACE_UCF @ucf @UCFCoastal #LadiesofLLACE @curious_kira @MichelleNMarine @aslo_org

So proud of my student @curious_kira for presenting her thesis work today at the @ApalachNERR Symposium. She did an amazing job and I couldn’t be more proud!! #WomenInScience @LLACE_UCF @UCFCoastal #davidsonfellowship @noaa – at Orlando, FL
