I think I understand why 99% of my feed on Twitter (X) has a post talking about AI in it. AI is the ultimate “cheat code” and it’s flexible enough that you can apply it to almost anything.

There are some people out there who like AI and others that are totally against it. It’s new technology, but it’s not going away so accept it. I see nothing wrong with using AI as a learning tool. It can teach you concepts to make “you” as a human better but not a replacement

So there are ways of upgrading older consoles via the cartridge port with a new FPGA based PCB. It turns out that the Sega 32X & Atari Jaguar hardware basically become god tier if you simply put a powerful FPGA inside a new cartridge. Who would have known….

Why is everyone generating stuff with AI? 🤖 Yes, it’s fun to tinker around with & I’ve dabbled in AI too. I think it’s a useful tool, but I also know Photoshop [CS6] and have a Wacom pen [Intous 4] and can do real art too!! I repeat, I can real art and graphic design.

People are talking about how companies just want us to rent video games instead of buying them and owning them. Let me explain how Blockbuster used to work. You could rent a video game for a fraction of the price of buying it. It was a way to preview a game.

Why is everyone literally generating images with AI? Yea, I’ve used AI, but I also use Photoshop too. I really think AI is just for rapid prototyping rather than a final result. It can get your idea out there quick. But don’t complain about data centers when you’re using it.

Here is a reason why physical media still has value & why the used games is market is good for gaming. I bought Boarderlands 2 for $3 at a pawn shop. Then bought the newer games too. Then I bought the DLC & saw the movie. Used games are an easy access point to get into an IP.
