I’ve never seen a single Fast & Furious movie and I’m as committed to that streak as Cal Ripken was to his.

Disappointing to see Republican councilman Morano compare carriage drivers to “lamplighters” and say that 18 months is plenty of time to find new career. This is an odd way for a non socialist to view a viable private sector industry. What other thriving private industries should our socialist mayor determine are viable or not?

Though Joe Jackson noted that no guitars at all were used on "Steppin' Out" there's a guy pretending to play one in this lip synched appearance.
"Steppin' Out" was inspired by the excitement of New York nightlife after Joe Jackson moved there following his divorce. The sophisticated synth-pop classic became his biggest US hit, peaking at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earning Grammy nominations for Record of the Year and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.
The song found a new audience decades later after being featured on the Flash FM radio station in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (2002). It later reappeared in Grand Theft Auto V/ GTA Online on Los Santos Underground Radio (as part of The Black Madonna’s set), introducing its sleek 1980s sound to yet another generation of players.

HIGH ANXIETY might be Mel Brooks's most under-appreciated movie, and there's a great making of story in which after Brooks finished the film, a spoof on Alfred Hitchcock movies, he actually invited Hitchcock to review the film and give it his blessing. 20th Century Fox sets up the screening, Brooks and Hitchcock are now watching the movie together. The first joke happens, Hitchcock doesn't laugh. The next joke, same thing. Brooks is sweating because Hitchcock isn't laughing at *any* of the jokes or parodies. Finally the movie ends, Brooks is ready to receive any type of critique, but all Hitchcock does is stand up and walk out, not saying a word. Brooks is left feeling like not only is his new comedy garbage, but the director he's spoofing absolutely hates it.
Crushed, days later, Brooks walks into his office on the lot and sees a gift basket on his desk. Inside is a card that simply says, "Splendid. - Hitchcock"
